"I see you took my advice, hunh, Nanav?" NK wriggled his eyebrows as they reached the kitchen - the only place on the ground floor offering them a shred of privacy.

Arnav grimaced. How he loathed himself for taking NK's advice...

"So, is she hot? Show me!" NK enthused, ripping open a packet of biscuits kept on the counter.

"No," Arnav said firmly, beginning to turn away.

"Wait, Nanav!" NK pulled him back by the arm, his voice muffled by the chunks of biscuits. "You don't have to show me if you don't want to! It's all cool!" He grinned to reveal bits of chocolate chip stuck between his teeth.

What does Lavanya see in him?" Arnav wondered dismally.

"Have you met her yet?" NK asked, popping an entire biscuits into his mouth.

"No." He repeated. Met her? He hadn't even thought of that yet... and now that he thought about it, he couldn't believe the idea hadn't already popped up in his head. Wasn't meeting and... doing stuff, the entire point of this Tinder thing?

"Well, you gotta! How else will you do what you gotta do?" A slimy little glob of cookie came flying out of his mouth and attached itself to Arnav's cheek. Nostrils flaring, he wiped it off. How had he come to this? How come he was always wiping NK's well-chewed food off his face?

Stepping closer to his cousin, he grabbed NK's collar. "You will NEVER mention this to ANYONE, understand?"

Eyes wide and worried about his biscuits getting crushed between his and Arnav's chest, NK nodded quickly.

"What are you doing on Tinder, Khushi-ji?" Anjali asked her coldly.

Khushi's face paled. Her lower lip began trembling. What WAS she doing, really?!

"What's happened to you?" Came the next accusation.

What HAD happened? How HAD she become so obsessed with this Salman Khan who wasn't even really Salman Khan?

"Have you forgotten everything?"

Had she forgotten Arnav?

"Have you forgotten how Arnav, my brother who doesn't believe in marriage, proposed to you on Payal and Akash's wedding?"

How could she forget that proposal? The proposal by the atheist? The proposal by the man who was never big on expressing his emotions in front of people? The proposal in front of her entire family? The proposal that made everyone, especially her, so happy?

"Have you forgotten how he'd wanted to get married only because he knew it was something that mattered very much to YOU?"

How could she forget that sacrifice? A non-believer doing something for her that he personally loathed? ONLY for her?

"Have you forgotten these three years?"

How could she forget the three years of her married life? All the ups? All the downs? Everything that they'd promised each other? Everything he'd done for her?

"Or do you not love my brother anymore?"

Khushi broke down, sobbing as it all finally crashed down around her.

The reality she'd been suppressing for almost a week now. What had she DONE?

Barely able to breath, Khushi ran out of the house before anyone could see her.
