A sudden injection of positivity today with all the spoilers popping up everywhere. 🥳.. Apparently Lee is staying put, SSO is coming back soon, Mahi is strangely cute! 😆 in his colorful get up , and what's this I hear about Holi?!

Woohoo, all is well in IBland 👏..phew!

Episode wise:

Whoa, action packed and intriguing today..

With most of the family gone for pooja, DSSO, a.k.a Mahi tried to get the real jewelry out from the pots but gets caught by Saumya. Safe at first, but then gets seen with his contact lenses out of place.

Saumya is not good at poker faces, and Mahi soon realizes he had been found out! Boy, what a theatrical change to a villainous baddie! Nakuul looks seriously creepy in his menacing look.

He chases Saumya, who like a silly horror movie cliche, runs indoors rather than out. She runs to SSO's room of all places (!!!) And finds Annika.

Except , it's not Annika! It's Kameeni , in disguise. Saumya sees her, just before she is clobbered over the head and hidden away.

Now, this is when the interesting part starts.

Mahi , is a very loyal child, really eager for his Ma's approval. And she withholds it from him.

"No "very good" for me? For doing well.so far??" Felt sorry for him, because this Kameeni is Horrid. Called him Nikamma, Manhoos.and what not.. yikes.

(Nakuul makes a very fetching sad face, and I'm already feeling sorry for Mahi...😭) so they are both cons.

And Kameeni was running this with ACP and Daksh until the big humiliation of Daksh happened. Wondering why she suddenly needed SSO out of the way...and Why Pinky is suddenly the target? Is it all about money? If so it wouldn't be such a great intrigue would it?

Figure this: one mom keeps talking about her womb bearing him and him being as precious as a rare gem. Another mom talks of her womb bearing such an unlucky useless boy who can't do anything right. And both boys are a spitting image of each other...

Prince and the Pauper? Or just long lost twin brothers? Could Kameeni have stolen Mahi as a child (because she's crazy and hates Shakti for leaving her for Pinky?) And just tortured him with her aggressive parenting his whole life?

😭poor Mahi...

Poor Saumya too, she going to be kept underground somewhere. What's with the mansion and underground rooms? This is becoming like Narnia !

And what?! Shivaay FINALLY actually got through to Annika's phone and got a dead battery?? *curses* Annika be sounding all annoyed too like he was bugging her or something.. Poor fellow thought his family was falling apart without him. Here some other raita was phailaoing...

Precap: Annika playfully throws water at SSO, and gets squeezed in the face scarily by a disgruntled annoyed alleycat.. she is quite terrified by the overreaction. I bet she'll be cured of this water throwing habit now...

Only a handful of IBians I know were keeping hopes alive for holi. 😆 Thank you to all of them for sending positive reiki😆

I guess some disaster management PR done by the PH today, after the halla they had to face on Saturday and Sunday. Everyone's active all of a sudden and all's well in IB land.

As for the episode, I'm convinced Mahi isn't Kameeni's own. Kamini DOES NOT love him at all. The way she was looking at him, it looked as if she couldn't stand the fact that SHE has to carry his burden,too. He, on the other hand, adores her and is doing this for her, everyone else be damned.

So may be twins theory will happen (and by twins I mean PINKY's twins 😆 ). May be Pinky gave birth to twins and she was told one of them died but it was actually Kamini who stole the kid and groomed him for vengeance? This also explains MAhi's hatred towards Pinky. He feels, like I mentioned in a post I made before, ke she took his mother's place.

Also, I do remember Shakti used to act extremely guilty in the initial IB epis. May be he left Kamini when she was preggers? But I dunno if half brothers can look that alike 😕 (or should we ignore logic?😆)

Either way, FSSO won't stay on in IB land. He'll have to either die or leave. I'm guessing he'll leave/die as a positive character after he discovers the lies Kamini has told him.

As for what those could be:

-She may have told him Shakti is his dad and that he betrayed her when she was preggers so she wants revenge.

-She may have told him Pinky is his mother but Kamini only brought him up so he's attached to her and is following her commands.

As for Prince and the pauper; do you mean as kids? Shivaay and Mahi were exchanged and Shivaay is actually Kamini's? I don't think they'll do that. But if they do it - then it will be a lie. May be bringing the "bada beta najaiz hai"video to the forefront. Shivaay might get misled into believing his illegitimate, as I initially thought. However, I don't think ke he is anything but an Oberoi. Whether he believes that or not, after the revelation, is another thing.

As for making sense of all the spoilers:

-NM/SC (I don't remember who) said apna Shivaay will be back this week, according to live WUs. IF it was the milan scene being shot today (blind video), the telecast might come on Thursday, Friday max.

-The shoot for Mahi scenes today and yesterday seems to be for a FB sequence. Gandee Baat will be the introductory song for Mahi's pure tapori avatar. Excited for this, honestly

😆 NM's a great dancer.

-Today, SC was also shooting with Neha and Kamini so that reveal coming soon, too. She also mentioned that she's shot for her Fakevaay revelation, according to live WUs I read.

-SC made it all but clear about Holi. She didn't confirm but AND THIS IS JUST MY GUESS PEOPLE DON'T FREAK made it pretty obvious ke it might happen. IF that was the special family sequence she was talking about when she said she'd do another insta live in2-3 days with the whole fam, Holi might start next week, only AGAIN THIS IS ME SPECULATING PEOPLE DON'T FREAK

-Very happy about Lee not quitting 😊

pehle bataao DSSO mein d kiya hai???

I am so loving this post, lovely analysis and summary of the episode, anika's clothes ufff, it will be a torture to watch the episode after a long time, but phir bhi clothes torture sehna padega, actually the word menacing is intriguing for me, I really love when Nakul plays it dark so cannot resist this temptation, the way fakewaay is grabbing anika's face I wish shivaay nay kabhi bola hota, anika tumhe kis cheez ki kami hai phir bhi yeh dhubi ghaat ka costume kuyn?🤣

NM definitely plays Fakevaay well and actually got us to empathize with him today! Poor Soumya - where is Rudy?! Definitely curious as to why Kameeni is dressed like Annika though (maybe she couldn't stand the tribal wear and helped herself to Annika's clothes!) 😆

Edit: Hoping Annika becomes the skates-waali khargosh this week :)

Another awesome post and the discussions here are everything that I would say! 👏

Seems like the story finally just picked up in IBland 😆

Maybe last week was the CVs idea of laying foundation? And to be honest from an actor's perspective for NM, it seemed like the perfect stage to flex his acting muscle. So while I did find the track eye-roll worthy (most after-marriage tracks have been that in my opinion), this from a purely experimental perspective seems to have been a good idea.

[I am a total theatre buff - but have never had exposure to Indian theatre... anyone has had any experience with it? - however, the effects were totally overkill in my opinion.. ]

My reaction to today's episode -

Also I'm really sorry for anyone who is named Mahi, but I am disappointed with Fakevaay's name. I hope Mahi is short for something.

Saumya's scream and fear was well done. Like when Mahi grabbed her leg, I was scared for Saumya. Also what happened to the lights?

Man I hope Shivaay learns Mahi almost strangled Annika. That was a pretty strong reaction. I hope the paani throwing doesn't stop though.

I wonder what'll happen to Saumya. Maybe she'll get thrown with Shivaay. Hopefully Rudra reacts to it.

The suspense is real. Can't wait for the next episode.

Thanks Mallu ! Looks like we have an exciting week ahead.. Annika's.clothes...ufff.. But to be fair everyone looked awful at Shagun 😆..

I really wish to see Annika reflect on how her gut feeling is twitching hard. I wonder what Mahi will do to avoid Annika's suspicion..

I know right? Just a little teeny weeny scene and we could gather so much about Mahi the duplicate. And how cute was that spoiler video NM posted? Floppy haired and cute !!

Must be tough juggling 2 characters and he's doing really well so far ..

I am feeling sorry for Mahi already... 😭 Nakuul is doing a great job as the fake Shivaay..he looked so starved of love 😭
I am sure there is a backstory to this that we might just like.. 😉
