For me, the highlight of yesterday's episode was the three kids talking to each other - a Muslim, a Hindu and a Sikh. It brought me back memories of Sid's conversation with Imaan and Sartaj in the prison - that our enemy hates us because a Khan, Singh and Thakur can eat and live together. Till yesterday's episode, I used to feel bad that in all this Lala won, an evil genius won. But yesterday's epilogue proved me wrong. Lala didn't win. Lala was never for religious harmony. He and the likes of Yousuf used religion to secure power for themselves. And there are such people in every religion, and in every country. But in the end, it is the power of love and humanity that eventually won. Else would a Singh, Khan and a Thakur be remembered together? Would a martyr's wife hug a terrorist's wife? Would the three kids belonging to different countries and religions play together?
And last but not the least, I loved the scene with Sid, Imaan and Sartaj looking at our National Flag. For the defence forces, they are always there for the country, no matter what the government of the day is, no matter who the enemy, no matter what their own condition is. This show intensified my respect for this stupendous Institution, where duty to the nation comes first, always!

I'm happy with the ending. Ok tbh not that much 😆 But then there's no point cribbing now. Atleast they gave some closure to Sid. Yes his condition can be described as Stockholm Syndrome. He did get attached to the same people responsible for his torture over the years. It did take me some time to accept the fact that Indian soldiers can also turn against their homeland. But maybe that does happen in real life as well. Who knows? Sid got manipulated because his enemy gave him love & care at the time when he had given up his will to live. He got attached to Hussain, a child who had only love & warmth to offer his torn soul. His death took away Sid's sanity. Its true that his maqsad wasnt wrong. Preaching for humanity is never wrong. But his ways surely were. The reason behind this is that he lived among jihadis, people who believe they can achieve their aims only by killing people in the name of religion & humanity. Even if I forgive him for holding Mehta & Thadani hostage, I can never forgive him for the hospital attack & Sartaj's death. He became simply irredeemable even after realising his sin. He didnt deserve this :( Even he was a soldier who went through so much torcher for 15 long years 😭 Was labelled a terrorist because he believed the person who saved him when he was only playing all along! Somebody had compared him to Karn from Mahabharat in one of the posts here. I absolutely agree to that.
My biggest complain with the makers is that they rushed the climax. No time was given to Sid's realisation & guilt trip. He died within 5 minutes of knowing the biggest truth. Plus they left so many things to our assumptions. Just one episode on closing all the open ends would have been much better.
Anyway, jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Ab kuch kiya bhi nahi jaa sakta hai 😆 Afreen & Hussain were accepted by everybody. Good that they came to India or Jadun would have not let them survive in their own country. Funny how Harleen's belly was visible but Afreen's wasnt when the announcement of their pregnancy was done around the same time 🤣 🤣
P.S. I loved that last shot of Imaan looking at the tricolour. And the all the three POWs too. And then Imaan again, all alone He lost his two partners :( That bit made me cry 😭 Can somebody please post a pic or gif of that scene?
P.P.S. I'll miss the show! Especially Anurag
