It was Sunday night. Again.
Which meant Little Arnav was going to be required for his weekly services. Again.
Arnav still hadn't been able to shake off the fear that Khushi knew about Lola - thanks to that bun. But wouldn't she have hit him with her rolling pin instead of trying to do something that would turn him on - because Khushi in a bun was a major turn-on, mind you.
And now there was the new fear. What if his Lola-preoccupation led him to say HER name in the middle of it? THAT would be even more catastrophic than the peeing.
Under the steady stream of the shower, Little Arnav sagged in reluctance. Getting out of the water would mean going back to Khushi. And he wasn't ready for that yet.
Maybe he should just tell her he was male PMSing. It was a ridiculously embarrassing idea but Arnav was beginning to feel like he had no other choice.
And NK certainly had PMS very frequently. How else would anyone explain all the sleeping during work, eating too many desserts and his tardiness to office at frequent time intervals? Or perhaps that was just NK being NK?
The idea wasn't unheard of, though. And he was gathering courage to use it as an excuse while he turned off the shower.
Patting himself dry with a towel, he looked down at his boy.
"Don't worry, bud. I've got it covered."
Then he paused. He couldn't believe he was talking to his penis. Lola was definitely a bad influence on him...
Khushi stood in the middle of her and Arnav's bedroom, biting her nails as she looked at the bed. It seemed bigger today than it ever had before.
How had Sunday come so quickly?! It seemed like only yesterday when she was jumping tentatively around the minefields last...
Khushi sighed. She was supposed to have sex with her husband tonight and all she wanted to do was play doctor (Not pee doctor, though). It was all extremely messed up.
The bathroom door cracked open and Arnav walked out slowly, his lower half wrapped in a white towel. Her eye roved over his damp chest and her mouth went dry.
Damn. He was still hot.
Didn't make the minefields disappear, though, she reminded herself.
She quickly cleared her throat.
"Di called."
"Oh?"He looked nervous again. She wondered why.
"She said there's a pooja at Shantivan tomorrow and we need to be there."
"Oh... okay." He shrugged. Still nervous.
A brilliant idea suddenly hit Khushi's head.
"I know it's Sunday night," she began, barely able to keep the excitement out of her voice at her clever excuse. "But we can't... it's one of those days." She looked down at her feet, feigning embarrassment.
"That's okay," Arnav replied, his voice soft... and relieved? "I'm a little tired today anyway. It's been a long week..."
Reviews to me are as gratifying as imagining Arnav in the shower! Please drop a comment!!😆
