special mention to veer and ranveer scene - ranveer kissing his forehead affectionately and feeling bad that veer has never received his dad's love was very touching. the scene highlights not only the innocence of veer, but also how the absence of one parent can really impact a child's life - we see many single parents raising their kids and we always say it must be so tough for the parent to manage it all alone, but I think we somewhat overlook how tough it may be for the child too - even though the single parent tries their best to play the role of both parents, somewhere for some children, they can still feel the absence of the other parent... in this case, suman tries her best to ensure ravi's absence is not felt by his mother, sisters and his son, but somewhere I feel veer and kalawati still miss ravi. I've never seen a scene where the sisters have remembered the brother - but kalawati and veer do miss ravi quite a lot.
