Yes, and locking down was not in response to that. Look Reema, you're an ex DT. I'm sure you're aware of the fact that there are other ways to tackle with such cases, and we keep them confidential. Locking down is a rather public way of taking action, which is why I am leaving this open for a discussion, where even the other fanbase can come and clarify their doubts.
At most the Vitharv AT has called Ravish a Sidey, fine...warn people BUT how are they both being put on the same level when we all know that the Ravidha AT has crossed all limits of decency! Time and time again it was reported, but we thought if nothing is being done about it then people may as well talk carelessly in the Vitharv AT. It's been months that's the issue.
Not just sidey, we have seen other instances of rule breaking (I cannot remember this right now cause I'm like half asleep, its 2 at my end) as well. Granted, and I admit, not as severe as the vile stuff we've read elsewhere. However, both the fandoms are not ready to listen to anything. With the lockdown, it was a sort of public warning to both the fandoms, since closure of threads and warning notes et all are not leaving any impact.
That Ravidha AT needs to be closed down, it's downright disgusting and it's been reported so many times.
Which it was. We will follow the rules for all the ATs, and henceforth, any rule breaching and the ATs will be closed/moved as per the rules.
I fail to understand why both ATs are getting the SAME repercussions for completely different levels of rule breaking? Again, because both the fandoms are just not listening! The arguments never end, snide topics and comments are made, and the ATs are almost like a safe haven for half the nonsense. Confidential and public action haven't worked, so a lockdown was initiated.
