Usually I stay far, far away from any kind of debate because well, that's how I am.
Endless debates tire me.

And it's normal that viewpoints might differ and clash between two persons and hence I disagree with none.

People perceive differently because they live different lives. What might seem normal to me might seem outrageous to someone else.

So when Dev was called Spineless and what not, I didn't say anything.
When Sona was called a doormat and a shameless daughter, I didn't say anything.

But something has arisen now, that made it impossible for me to keep quiet.

And that is people calling Soha's demand of living with Devakshi together as actions of a brat or as being manipulative.

I don't understand what made you all come to this conclusion?

A 6 year old wanting to live with her parents together is not a crime is it?
Now you all will say that she knew that her parents where unhappy together, so why now?

And why is this affecting me so much?

I'll come clean and tell you why.
I'm a girl who has been in the same situation as Soha. Or maybe even worse at certain points. I knew everything right from the start when things happened.. But I demanded the same of my parents even at an older age than Soha. And that wasn't even because of me.It was because I had a little sister who wasn't able to adjust at all. We were both mature yes. But being mature does not suddenly mean that you cannot want your parents together.

You can go ahead and call me a brat and a manipulator too if you want, but I'll tell you what happened after I demanded to stay with both my parents. They adopted something similar to Devakshi's pact and 2 years after that pact and a whole lot of sessions at the marriage counseller, I live with my sister and my parents in one house now. For the past few years. And we are happy now. All four of us.

I know that you might still point out and say, not all situations end positively, but I'll say, what's the harm in trying?

So that way my mother was an unworthy daughter too right? The logic that many of you are going by.
But that led to a happy life for all of us. A life that shows you that unless you try, you get nothing.

So instead of just judging based on outer appearances, take a minute to think and realise what these comments might mean.

I'm not saying that you have no right to assume. But to outright accuse is a big deal.

So please, don't point fingers at that little one.
I know it's a show and these characters are fictional.
But these characters are from real life, just like me and Soha.

Also, by this post I might garner a great amount of dislike, but I have no choice. I just could not keep quiet. Because life is not all flowery at certain points.

Thank you.

Hey dear...Don't let yourself getting impacted by these things...you are such a lively girl...
I know few things hit hard that you have to speak out but seeing such things I don't think people will still understand what they are talking...When they can judge a 6yr old kid, then who are you or me...

I respect what you did. Every child would want that and its not an unreasonable demand...

I have a similar example but that 12yr kid asked her mom to leave his dad as she was seeing how her Dad and grandparents were treating her mother but that was when that little kid saw what went wrong..

In Soha's case, she has not seen anything..she has seen caring parents...she saw them caring for each other..so she is not understanding what went wrong between them...She is thinking that if they stay together than they will again love each other...thats it...

We can't change other POV so just relax dear...I am doing this for long now...

I still find few things from Dev and Sona's end still wrong but I refrain myself from commenting...

Positive posts hi banaya karo tum...😊

Thank you dear.
Maybe it's because of the negativity I've been through, that being positive appeals to me so much. That laughing is so important to me.
But saying something to a little one like that, really made me sad. hence I wrote this.
Thank you for all the wishes dear!😃
Good wishes to you too!

Thank you Rahul!
Nice to meet you. :)
I avoid them usually, but this one went straight to my heart. I just couldn't control it.
Yes of course i'll continue with my episode posts as usual. Don't worry!
I just vented out the sadness here for once.
Won't happen again!😃

Mishti...that was a wonderful post...There's no problem if for some people we seem to be a spoiled brat, shameless daughter or even woman with no self-respect...We have opted to follow our heart & emotions and it has given us wonderful results...Then why do we bother about others, for whom self-respect, ego, hate is more important than happiness, love and family life...With your that decision, not only to you & your sister, you have given your parents also a wonderful life...Keep on your positivity dear.
