Song choices

Really wish the contestants would be singing better songs...lately have been hearing the same songs in all channels...wish to hear something different...Realy good songs earlier in the contest

I'm curious to noe abt song selections. If I recall correctly, previous Seasons had a judges special round.. This time audience didn't get any insight on song choice n it's preparation.

I'm sure the songs are recommended by the team - they usually sing songs of guests on the show.

I'm sure atleast the South Indian contestants don't quite know which song was picturized on whom (they obviously know some but not all).

I will agree that lately the songs aren't great, but don't think it's the contestants fault.

If it was you'd have most stick to their favourite and comfortable genres.

Saturday I believe is a qawwali special.

According to Revanth in one of his latest interviews, Sony provides them with a list of songs out of which they have to select one.
