Baji the Hatti Marathi's Choices
Baji belived "joh hatti nahi woh Marathi nahi"
A belief that resonated with every Marathi yahan bhi aur kahin bhi
But now the stakes were beyond high
Dhandak declared Parshu's life or the diamond nigh
It was a win or lose game of life
Of Parshu and Baji's life
And Dhandak's callous greed
For wealth and diamonds indeed
To Baji the choice was clear
You fight or surrender
You win or lose
You press on or don't
It's one or another
Baji was no loser
So, he decided to plunge on
And fight for his and Parshu's life
Har har Mahadev, he cried
And was ready to do anything that it takes to win
The Krishna river was his friend of yore
Where he had dived and found silver coins so pure
Baji won this battle with Dhandak and many more
Because of his choice between right and wrong, win and loss
Mentally and physically he refused to lose
And fought again and again only to win!
