I was just looking at Shahid Kapoor's page in box office india..

This guy has given flops after flops... still getting work.. How is he still getting work?

I think he struggled a lot and learned how to swim on his own. He had no one handing him movies one after the other. So I do respect him more compared to other star kids. And he did end up proving he is a good actor, he is a good dancer, and without the beard he is decent looking. Though he was a little too boyish cute when he first came.

Akshay, Ajay and Saif. All 3 were in the same boat during the 90s as they were each giving flop after flop, reason audience liked them is that they were enjoyable to watch on the screen and had that x factor or screen presence . Same thing with Shahid he has that charming screen presence as well hence he will still continue to succeed. Compare him to someone like Imran Khan who was going so well and 3 flops just ruined him, while Shahid has been giving flops for a while, the reason Imran couldn't survive is because the audience didn't enjoy him on screen while Shahid was enjoyed.

How many times does this need to be discussed?
