People call Gauri delusional when she tries to know whether Om has any feeling for her.People bash Gauri when she calls Om her husband, feels jealous when she sees Om with Swetlana and wishes to spend her life with him.

Indirectly, she's being selfish and wants that Om should not marry Swetlana and is helping him for this reason.She took money from Swetlana to do her work but instead she's actually going against her and is helping Om for her own selfish reasons.

Is it because of this reason that many people here are not liking her?

I remember people bashed her when she told Om that she believes in the marriage but later appreciated her when she said she will not force Om to accept her as his wife.

Have viewers got so used to seeing a selfless heroine that they can't tolerate even a little bit selfishness in a heroine?

It's just the opposite, we don't want her to be behind a man, help him or try to get the attention of the man who thinks her to be a cheap girl

We want her to have self respect and selfishness where either she makes Om to love her by hook or crook or just forget about him, but not fangirl or hope for reciprocation by such a man

I think I am okay with Gauri fangirling Omie; omkara is a lovable person for he reasons everything an gives respect to people irrespective of what posiiton they have. he had no reason to marry Gauri or accept the marriage, so maybe its okay. Also, I don't feel gauri is jealous, she just gets disturbed on seeing SvetKara together cz she knows he is not marrying a person who'll take care of him. I am mostly okay with her character apart fromt he pati jaap which looks OTT, however in the last few epi's I feel they have reduced it a little- they need to give it up though

I gauri who was shown during KT's track, d girl who crashed, omkara's car, grl who was trapped but never accepted omkara's wrong accusations on her, who had guts 2 say 2 omkara , I 2 don't want 2 see ur face again in life, after seeing that grl , I thought this us grl who will show omkara his faults but currently gauri's characterization is really not expected by me, who is nothing but a fangrl of omkara, therefore it is not working 4 me, luving omkara with no expectations is ok with me, but forgetting u self respect is not ok with me, initially I saw d mixture of shivru in gauri but now i can't say

but y cant she like him while showing his faults?? she did confront him and calm him down when he as ultimately angry on god for everything.. why always a heroine who is fighting and showing tashan to guy? she hasnt taken anything from her to frgtself respect, she is just doing her thing and taking the side of who she considers right.

Gauri wanted to quit her job when she came to know that's Om's house but Swetlana stopped her.She didn't wanted to stay in Om's room but again Swetlana forced her to stay.

She's with Om 24/7 again due to Swetlana. After the current scenes, she started developing feelings for Om.

She also saw Om is disturbed due to his parents problems. She's also realizing Swetlana is a mysterious and bad woman and Om is not happy with her.She realized Om wants to expose Swetlana so she's helping him.

It's not like she's always been behind Om since the beginning. In fact,it's Swetlana who is playing cupid in their love story.

So where's the question of self respect here?At first, she followed Swetlana's orders. Now she's helping Om to solve his problems.

She forgot all the insults that Om gave the moment he put his blood on her forehead.

But it is because of him that she is alive; the nayi soch here is that even if a girl is not good (as per what villagers and Omkara thought); no one has the right to take her life- Omkara saved her even when he thought she was bad. She started fangirling him when she understood his problems and saw that he tries to do things which are right.

P.S. In real world, specially in his situation to be right is not that easy!

If by simply putting blood in ur forehead, then again insult u on ur face by saying I don't want 2 live my life with ur kind of grl. What diff b/w jhanvi & gauri, jhanvi had more valid reasons 2 don't leave tej, she had a luv marriage with tej, at one time tej did luv her, even she had 3 children from tej.

I really looking forward 2 chulbul revelation, let see how she face omkara's volcanic eruption.

Jhanvi and gauri are widely different; Jhanvi had been lawfully married to a person who claimed to love her in front of the world Gauri was married so that her life was saved, they both dn't even know each other.

Not going into Jhanvi topic as that is totally another discussion.
