Yes Shivaay is father figure to both of them (OMRU) always. And parents of Shiv and OMRU do not have a happy married life, this is what was shown in earlier episodes when Shiv.. was telling how inspite of troubled married life their parents are living under one roof. That is the reason all three brothers are not in very much in believe of marriage. Now Shivika relation will set an example and will give a different view of marriage to OMRU also. And they will start thinking differently with time about marriage. This starts already as Shiv.. brings Saumya back home.

Tej is inherently a weak character -self absorbed at the expense of his wife and children...he has been working to achieve personal goals while Shivaay works for the family...And family knows this ...

Thanks for all your views... It would be interesting to see past of Shivaay may be some small scene or at least brothers discussing on how Shivaay handled all this when he was young. A young kid taking care of his younger siblings. I feel Tej is genuinely unable to comprehend Shivaay & his siblings bond.

Shivay is and has always been a father figure to OmRu and Prinku on the other hand Tej never cared abt his wife and children.
Still Tej insults Shivay!
Tej is actually the most disgusting husband and father of this world!
And Shivay, His kids will be very lucky to have a father like him.!
