Guys, I literally just finished watching the episode where Shivaay is forcing Annika to get married to him. SOOO SAD AND INTENSE. The whole bomb and Sahil thing was absolutely, absolutely, impossibly cruel to do!!! I am in shock.. in awe of Surbhi's acting though, amazing. NAKUUL really made me hate Shivaay in this scene, well I love him but my god, i hate him atm. My point is- does Shivaay ever redeem himself for what the hell he just did.😡😭😲

Actually, as a viewer, did you forgive Shivaay?

I am close but still holding out for a very heartfelt scene to come after the Prinku/Ranveer blackmailing into marriage comes out in the open!! I really think it's going to hit Shivvay very very hard, and he is going to be forced to look in the mirror and be destroyed by the realization that he did to Annika what Ranveer did to Prinku...and without just cause...to boot!

Coming to your point of forgiving Shivaay...

the rational me would never forgive Shivaay for what he did ...

But the romantic me after seeing post wedding episodes have given him half maafi ...he hasnt redeemed fully yet in my eyes..That might take many more awwwilicous hugs and some soul stirring conversation between the duo...😛😛

Can't speak for others, but I'm going to say no.

The Shivaay then and Shivaay now are two different people. Right now, he is happy because she is his wife, but he conveniently ignores how it happened 😆

I love Shivaay, but its hard to forgive him especially since he never acknowledges it. Pretending it didn't happen doesn't make everything disappear. We got glimpses of his regret and semi-acknowledge that his actions were wrong, but he still believes be it good or bad his actions are justified if it's for family.

I know I shouldn't have any expectations, but there is so much unresolved conflict between with the forced wedding so I hope the writers haven't moved on. The elephant in the room needs to be addressed eventually.

yes i want shivaay and anika to have a convo about that issue, blackmail and force. I want shivaay to apologize. May be after knowing prinku accepted to marry ranbir for his sake or that she is being blackmailed will he acknowledge the depth of his mistakes. Hope so...

What shivaay did during the wedding was his worst side. Maybe he himself didn't realise what he was doing coz there were so many things going on in his head and somehow I feel he felt defeated coz of what daksh said and tia running away from their wedding. Of course this does not justify what he did. Whatever he did was wrong.

But now we have seen a completely different side of shivaay. This shivaay cares for Annika. He doesn't care about his life when he has to protect her. How hard u try but u can't stop loving this shivaay knowing what he had done. And I believe that one should always move forward and shouldn't live with past. I think forgiving someone not only relieves the other person but also u. At the same time I also for once want shivaay to realise whatever he did was completely wrong even in the name of protecting his family's reputation. He should understand how cruel he was for Annika. I want him to feel sorry and guilty for what he did.

I m also happy that he hasn't said sorry just for the sake of it. Want him to actually realise it and then genuinely feel sorry. I think this will happen after priyankas wedding. I hope cvs give us a beautiful scene.

That marriage is a thorn and many haven't forgotten SSO yet.

But we can't also ignore how much SSO has evolved since then

SSO needs to understand that the wedding was wrong in all respect n give Anika the freedom to choose what she wants

No one has forgotten what he did... His taking bullets for her doesn't erase what he did to her... His accepting her as wife doesn't erase the torture he did on her...

He still doesn't feel. Guilty for what he did... He justifies it as something needed to be done to save family honor... The day he will. Feel guilty for having forced her and hving used her weakness for that... And he apologizes for that sincerely and promises to make things better for them going forward... That day he can be forgiven... But today... No... Coz he isn't even guilty

Prinku and ACP.. god I can't stand thst guy. He's a bit of a whackjob. You mentioning him made me think the law enforcement/security in this show is a serious joke😆
