i noticed something interesting today... when om was talking to chulbul, he kept gauri's hair in his pocket after saying that it's smell reminds him of her. What do you guys think?

Yes. I too also noticed it. In future we get a romantic scene with her hair like he is missing gauri and holding her hair lovingly and thinking abt her
