I was even worse... I just kept quiet ! 😆 My husband back then was a strange uncommunicative secretive mind. We were introduced and we went out, and he painted this perfect plastic picture of himself that I wasn't buying. Everything was so squeaky clean and i was having trouble connecting.

I was mad at him because while he was being plasticky, I was opening up more and more, so he would do the same. But he ended up knowing a LOT more personal things about me than I did about him (former crushes and almost boyfriends whom he knew of). And THERE WERE a LOT that i only found out AFTER marriage... 😡

So here i was , mad at him. ANd he pops this random " I Love you..." and just kept quiet.

SO I was shocked. Like what? When did that happen? 😆

Yeah he didn't want to talk to me for 3 days before I managed to bring him around..🤔.. 12 years later, (yeah ) he's still the same vexing guy...😆

We both have colorful courtships... 😆

We should exchange notes...😉

To be honest we were 18 years old at that time. And we were classmates and good friends. We both knew each other's history, however short it was...ha ha..😃

And now I feel relieved that I am not the only one who has been around this planet for a long time (to put it delicately 😉) Otherwise I feel positively ancient in these forums...
