In BKD, VD is molested by a gang, but many didnt like the scene. In Munnabhai ragging was shown in a funny way, and same thing happened in 3 idiot. This are serious issue but 99% of people laughed at such scene. Should movie maker show such serious issue in a light manner ? I m guilty of laughing at scene but they made it look funny

Male abuse is real issue and I am afraid it is getting sweeped away just the way female issues were few years back. 😡

I think these type of scenes can be taken as black comedy. But I'm getting what u are saying. If these type of scenes had women getting abused in place of men, then no one would have found it funny, and the movie would have got banned. If people enjoy watching men getting abused and harassed, then what's the problem with the same thing happens with women??? Because then it becomes a serious issue and no more entertainment??? People have started hating feminism bcoz of this only.

In America they say female predators do less time than males

Female Teachers who abuse young students(boys) get less jail sentence than male teachers who abuse girls who are considered creeps of worst kind (These kinds of incidents seem to be increasing or maybe they're reported more now)

And then there are jokes and guffaws... Their hotness is always mentioned

Although I'm against molestation and harassment against any gender but I do confess I'm guilty of laughing at that scene. Despite all my good intentions of not doing so, but if the makers treat the scene as comic relief then obviously it will get that kinda reaction. Guess the makers should be more sensitive and responsible towards what they're portraying even if it's dark comedy it should come with a disclaimer. But that doesn't give anyone the leeway to attack the feminists. After centuries of abuses, harassment, molestation and rape and still being subjected to it today people still think women have it easy that's incredulous 😲 so what if they're given some concessions after eons of suppression by men why does it hurt their petty egos so much guess they secretly support these crimes and want women to be oppressed forever to appease their egos 🤢

I completely agree with what you have said. Molestation is bad - be it Male or Female. Sadly BW movies present Male molestation as comedy. We are conditioned to laugh at such scenes.
I hope it changes in future.

It's not about only BW movies. We have "mard ko dard nahi hota" perception which is created by patriarchal society to make men look powerful.
So when men get abused we laugh. When a boy cries we say "kya ladkio ki tarha ro raha hain"

And many things like "haath me chooriyaan pehni hain kya" or "haath mehendi daala hai kya" etc

Now this is backfiring men. When a man really gets abused by a woman he can't come forward because he fears his manliness would be questioned. And man getting molested is beyond imagination. How come a man get molested?

You see the funny thing is men never considered themselves weak and tortured women as women are physically weak. But now when women are raising voice and becoming stronger then the same men are shouting "why "feminazis" are talking about only women being molested? Can't men get molested? Why there is no law for filing case against woman molester?"

They were not at all concerned about the gender-biased law until women started getting somewhat better justice. Now they are suddenly so much concerned. Even against lowering age of crime.

And now-a-days those who support women are called "manginas"..you see..penis is the best..

Patrirchal soceity denies existence of gay and transgenders. They make fun of "hijra"s or "chhakkas". In patriarchal society MAN is ultimate. So if a MAN is getting abused he is not MAN enough. So he is a shame to manhood and laughable.

Because of man made rules men are suffering. Doosre ke liye khoda gadde mein khud hi ko girna padta hain.

Maybe its Karan Johar's way to start a conversation? Remember he started with Dostana where being homosexual was laughed at.
