Salman Khan on training for Tiger Zinda Hai: There is a lot of pain in undergoing physical transformation
Salman Khan is all set to start shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger which went to become a hit in 2012.
Yesterday at Zee Cine Awards, Salman Khan opened up on the training experience for Tiger Zinda Hai. He said, "There is a lot of pain in undergoing a physical transformation. I have been training for Tiger Zinda Hai and there is another film that I am training - it's a dance film (referring to Remo D'Souza film). For Sultan, I was 96 kgs. I have shed 18-20 kgs."
Talking about the whole procedure, Ali Abbas in an earlier interview said, "Salman loves food, so he started eating a lot. He was eating three Magnum ice-creams in a day and he gained almost 100 kg and then I was ready to shoot his unfit scenes. Salman is like the bible of bodybuilding and he knows exactly what to do. There were days when he was frustrated looking at himself and saying baad mein agar weight nahin kum hua to kya hoga? But he managed. He did it without giving anyone problem."
Salman will be playing the role of an Indian spy in Tiger Zinda Hai and just a few days, a picture which is reportedly said to be his look in the film. Tiger Zinda Hai will see Katrina reprise her role of a Pakistani agent.
