In Kjo's words ,he would never given opportunity to people like ranveer and anushka but adi did..my point was about spotting and nurturing talent..giving opportunities to unknown people without a promising background..in SOTY ..he already had alia and varun so taking a siddharth(conventionally good looking unlike ranveer) was not a risk for him..

Spotting talent is easier part , nurturing and giving them good opportunities is more important because there are many talented people who end up being "one film wonder"
So we need someone who is combination of Adi+KJo
With Adi, he isn't doing it for cinema, he wants "home grown" stars who he can control to earn more money .

If the outsider has something in him then he will get film eventually..No one is gonna spoon feed films to an actor unless he is insider. So outsiders have to struggle a lot but getting a big break or a launch pad does give a wider reach, does give other producers or directors to see his talent and pick him up for a future project..Its always better to get at least one good film to no film at all !!
