Keeping all the things in today's episode apart I would like to bust a myth today that our extremely modern TV producers never feel to bust.
Papita or Papaya is not bad for a pregnant lady!
It is a rich source of Vitamin A, just like carrots & mangoes. Also it provides us with Vitamin C, E & a lot of fibres & folic acid which is good for increasing haemoglobin & avoiding Anaemia. Anaemia is one of the commonest complications in any pregnancy in India. So Papaya is quite helpful in avoiding this complication.
But just like excess of anything is wrong so is eating a hell lot of Papaya!
So would really like to tell, that Papaya is a fruit that provides lot of nutrition to the consumer & is really cheap so please avoid the unresearched crap we see on TV & enjoy that bowl full of Papaya!
Please spread the word!
(Sorry, as a doctor & an ardent Papaya lover, I couldn't help myself from stopping ppl doing this nainsafi with Papaya!)

You are so right buddy! There is no meaning expecting any logic. 😆

Hahahaha thanks for this post. I remember there was a similar scene in IPKKND (another Gul Khan show). Arnav's sister was pregnant and he did not let her have the mighty khatarnaak papaya😆

Well if its unripe or even semi ripe it might result in urine contractions due to the presence of latex. Fully ripe ones aren't harmful though, but i guess people (with limited medical/ nutritional knowledge) dont wanna take risks.
