I have watched enough episodes of criminal minds and other crime shows that have dealt with this sort of mind manipulation and personality swaps to come up with this conclusion. It seems that indian tv wants to present this theme to the indian audience who have neither seen or heard of such a thing, because it seems weird.

The scene from the bathroom and the words that abhi's reflection said to the boy were actually the boy's subconscious mind, where it seems the boy's mind is escaping the brainwashing/ hypnosis/ programming trained into him but at the same time whatever has been done to him overrides his subconsciousness and reminds him he can't ruin this illusion that has been created of him being abhimanyu, hence the words "no matter what anybody says you are not priyam but abhimanyu".

This boy has been abused mentally to fulfill someone's vendetta that is for sure, rather than being a willing and knowing participant of this conspiracy.

But that may be his training too na..
Well anything is possible in tv shows...specially thriller series...

But again I will say the same...the boy does nt seem subconscious. ...rather smart enough as abhi is behind his every step...
Lets see how things turn out to be...

But the real question is whether rishab is culprit or not. Often in mystery thriller projected ones often turn to be innocent. And real culprits turn out to be unsuspecting ones like Choti maa type

Yess I agree with this..
Often in thriller shows the culprit turns out to b a third person rather than the suspected ones..

But the thing is that without know ing the exact thing how can one plan something so huge..
Too early to say anything..

And one more thing. ..
The title Koi laut k aaya hai...is not about returning of a person who was dead...
But the sin that was committed in the past...was suppressed...and now its time to pay for your deed...to face it and to get punished...

I dont know how well I have communicated my thought to you all...but thats what I feel...

A crime can never be hidden for lifetime...there s time for sure when you will be punished for it..either sooner or later...
And this show is based on this theory only. ..

@bold I think so too. How veil Abhimanyu must be to use a child like that for his selfish interests, if all of this really is his undoing. I would be disappointed if they try to justify Abhimanyu's crimes just because he was trying to expose Rishabh.

I sincerely hope its a psychological thriller. And those kundali and desert woman are just a ploy to distract. Some clear indicators were:
- The boy was trained by Abhi or his lookalike
- Gitu sees what her mind wants her to believe
- Priyam's parents as well as Chanda can be bought for money
During the Q&A session, both Rishab and Gitu looked guilty to me.
And whatever the crime, it is something RIshabh is fully aware of while Gitanjali seems to have blocked those memories, hence those dreams.

Same thoughts.

Its not about a person returning, but a crime returning for its payback.
