Hey Guys So Kelly & I decided to watch Phase 1 again & analyse the episodes, she posted the Analysis for the first episode yesterday and I am posting the analysis for the second episode today. Whoever wants to join us on this is most welcome😊 Also this is my first ever episode Analysis & I suck at summarising so please go easy on😆 But do let me know what I can do to improve!
The episode begins with Kailash's friend asking him for Vividha's hand for his son and KK not just rejects the proposal but does so in the most insulting way! He also goes on to describe the dreams that he has regarding his daughter's prospective groom! Someone who lived in a palatial house and Atharv's humble abode is shown! A house with a innumerable Vehicles lined up on the gate and Atharv arriving on his bike is shown, A house with so many servants that his daughter wouldn't have to lift a finger for anything and Atharv is shown working in the Tabela! He says that he wants his daughter to marry someone rich and not a poor dreamer! On the other hand Atharv tells his mom proudly that he is dreaming!
And Before KK can treat his friend with more contempt, Vividha arrives & takes him away and the focus is on her feet & the sound of her payal and absence of the other payal in the other end of the city Atharv is distracted by this same payal's sound that was now tied to his calf, he can't help but keep glancing at it! (Just how affected is he is already?LOL)
Next Day KK explains to Vividha the virtues of Lord Ram & tells her that he'll find someone like Ram for her but Vividha insists that he find someone like Lord Shiva for her to which KK jokingly replies that Lord Shiva never got along with his Father in law and the father daughter-duo have a hearty laugh over it and as Vividha goes on to pour the holy water on Shiv-ling and chants Om namah shivay and Atharv is shown pouring water on himself! (There is a parallel of this today's episode!)
Later Atharv fights with his mom for still pining for the man who left them without a second thought & never bothered to look back again! He can't understand why the guy who left his mom still mattered so much to her! But Sujatha somehow manages to Calm her son down! By running behind our Drama Queen Atharv and feeding him morsel by morsel & putting up with his NakhrasLOL
This is a man who has been carrying this pain with him since childhood and has never been able to get over his father's abandonment and his vulnerability is similar to that of child's when he looks at his mom with the same pain!
Atharv excitedly explains his business plans to Sujatha & says that "Now nobody can come between me & my dreams" and right at that moment Vividha enters with her bicycle
Now what did this moment really foreshadow? That she was going to be a hurdle in achieving those dreams? or the motivation to fulfill them? or become his most important dream ever (Of marrying her I mean) or all the three?
Sujatha introduces Vividha & Atharv to each other, but of course Vivi opens her mouth & starts her papa puran again to which Atharv can't help but roll his eyesLOL
Vividha & Atharv argue once again with Atharv saying they are big people who don't be ready for emergencies & demand other's share of milk to which Vivi asks is she supposed to check the newspaper to find out if the milk would get spoiled or not? And Atharv gives her the most sensible answer that they could have easily skipped the kheer and served other stuff it's not like god keeps tabs on how much he is servedLOL
But soon the conversation takes a serious turn as Atharv taunts Vividha for going on & on about her father's respect and she in turn gets offended and taunts Atharv for not understanding what a father's respect is because he has never had a father! Thus opening Atharv's still fresh wound, Atharv walks away angry & hurt so does a disappointed Sujatha leaving a guilt ridden Vivi. Vividha goes home & finds out from her mom about Sujatha's struggle and how Atharv was abandoned by his father even before he was born, on the other hand Atharv shares the pain of being looked at with either questions or pity and how the world would always look at him as a illegitimate child!
