I loved the last scene in today's episode! But to get to that I had to sit through a lot of nonsense! I see the TRP's have fallen too. Lets hope this is a wake up call for the makers to get their act together and reunite ViTharv as soon as possible. The events leading up to the leap and the leap itself has failed dramatically. No one wants to see ViTharv married to other people. Even the GEC audience has rejected that.
Ankit is pretty much irredeemable. What he did to Atharv in phase one pretty much set of the chain of events that led to Atharv's madness. And now he does something even more despicable. He tries to molest Additi.
I really am tired of this show's treatment towards women. First Guddi, then Vivi and now Additi have all been seen as objects by men, to be abused and molested. The fact that nearly every one of the men have got away with it too is pretty disgusting.
When I watched today's Ankit scene, I could only look back and remember Atharv and how he had saved Guddi. Not only did he capture Chintu, but he was adamant that he wanted to call the police and get him locked up. His shock at Vivi asking him not to interfere and his subsequent anger and disgust at the family was brilliantly shown.
Today, Ravish disappointed me yet again. When all the women wanted to throw Ankit out of the house after beating him up for harming Additi, Ravish agreed to give him a chance because his mum asked them to. The parallels to phase one were very cleverly shown again. Suman was like KK who, for their own selfish reasons, wanted to cover up the crime. Vividha was like Atharv, who wanted to punish Ankit. And Ravish, was like the rest of the Kashyaps who had wanted to abide by KK's decisions, and in this case Ravish by his mother's.
Guddi and Chintu are completely disgusting, romancing openly while Atharv was in the room. The less said about them the better.
And now the final scene.
I've seen a lot of comments about how Vivi was not bonding with Madhav and how there was no warmth in their relationship. But today Vivi put rest to all those doubts. Just the thought of Madhav leaving her for three hours for the first time to go to school brought tears to her eyes. And Madhav was so adorable to his mother. He wiped her tears and told her not to cry as something good was going to happen.
And in another part of the universe, Atharv smiled as his surprise for his mother had come through and told Guddi that today was going to be a good day.
Atharv has always been known to have a sixth sense and could feel when something good or bad was coming. And now his son has inherited the same gut feeling from his father. Even Vivi acknowledged that Madhav's feelings always came true.
In the pre-cap, Atharv phoned Suman but Vivi took the phone and spoke. And something stirred in Atharv.
