So we all know Vidya Balan. A beautiful and talented actress who made her mark in industry. But after a few hits, media/fans hype her as if she is the best, call her Meryl Streep and what not and then she falls on her face with movies like Ghanchakkar, Shadi ke side effects, Bobby jasoos and the rest. It's not that they flopped but her performances in those films were not good either. But still we keep hearing that they are above some of the other popular actresses. And when they don't perform, all the hype is conveniently forgotten. She was very good in Kahaani 2 but hardly anyone praised her because the film is a flop.

Same thing is happening with Kangana. We need to stop overhyping them and appreciate them for how they perform in every film instead of saying they are some gift to our industry.

Hopefully Her irrelevance showed her 😆

Girls... continue to do what you feel like. Don't let anyone tell you WHAT TO DO or NOT TO DO. 🥳

You are making history and will be considered as one of the best actresses ever to grace Hindi cinema. ⭐️

No one will remember what IVs you gave a certain year, subtle or direct digs/claims, how arrogant or grounded you were.

It's all your screen work that will matter.

It was their wrong choices esp Vidya.
After Kahani, the expectations from her were so high. But she picked craps like Ghanchakaar and Shaadi Ke Side effects. She failed to strike a balance between commercial and art movies.

Yes appreciate their performance without overhyping, calling them not just gift to industry but to womankind...

To be fair everybody is overhyped today

Everyone is overhyped excessively when they see a series of hits. Everyone is trashed excessively when they see a series of flops. That's how it rolls for everyone.
