Indian actors are very sore losers. I think they have less integrity than the awards shows.

If they win, they're happy and if they don't, they start trashing the award itself.

Well the actor was just being courteous to the organizer who DESPITE KNOWING HER STANCE still bothered to give her the AWARD in a QUESTIONABLE category.

He can be satisfied that it was not in a trash can and the intended person he "GENUINELY" wanted to recognize "without strings attached" (LOL) has it on her shelf.

But clearly, if his motivation was TRPs more than acknowledgement, then I can see him being disappointed. I don't know what he must be feeling about the abandoned trophy that this years Popular Actor winner is known to despise. 🤔 To balance it out, he had to give critics best actor two men... 😆
