They were not mocking her father. They were trying to use the same reasoning/logic in another area of life to show how ridiculous the original statement was.

I see many people have this impression. How exactly did they mock her or her father!

Many people did churn out witty responses to her placard. So did Virender Sehwag. Suddenly Sehwag and Hooda were made to seem like they were hounding the girl! Come on people!
It was a harmless way of pointing out the absurdity of the statement in her placard.

And Javed Akhtar of all people calling the sports persons illiterate and demeaning their contributions all because it went against the narrative. That was cheap.

Whether you see it or not - what Gurmehar was not spontaneous and innocent. It was a carefully scripted and coached narrative.

Btw - where is Aamir Khan? Now not coming out in support of the Phogat sisters when one of his own is slandering them? Of course - that will not bring in money will it!

aap ko problem hain modi se ok, bhakto se ok ya fir abvp ki gundagardi se ok samaj ata hain..but iski kya jarurat hain pak did nt kill my father war did...etc etc

Some say how can Sehwag and Hooda respond to a grieving daughter like that?

Her father was killed in 1999 he was a captain not a civilian... While she can his use death for her agenda, policy or propaganda, others are not suppose to respond to her for the rest of her life no matter what she says or does bcz she is a grieving daughter?
