The 'Risky Business' of Omakara & Svetlana

Somewhere deep down, though she is a Nafratbaaz, I feel she is also living a fantasy here. In all her interactions with Omkara you see an underlying current. When she trapped him and made that video, the way she approached him, there was a certain seductive element in it. Like she wants to seduce him, but not exactly trying. Maybe because she knows she will be rejected! Omkara is not the sort of man who would entertain a woman who had an affair with his Father, or a woman responsible for his Mother's misery. Maybe THAT is what makes him so hot to her! 😉 Though Tej's son, he is not like him in that sense. The guy has standards.

The last episode especially hammered home her growing confidence as Om's "Honewale Biwi" and Future Mrs Oberoi. I can see a certain undertone of possessiveness in her behavior. There is a certain amount of banter between them too. Which is seriously enjoyable. The "Hate chemistry" and the No love lost feelings always make their scenes very watchable. I find their "No holds barred" style relationship really interesting and entertaining. Because they BOTH know where they stand. They know their relationship is a deal. Neither try to handle the other with Kid gloves, they always tell it like it is to each other. Their relationship is one of the most interesting to watch for me right now.

The way Svetlana is acting with the way she hovers around Om, invades his personal space and even touches him in a way that indicates she is exerting her rights, shows she is not immune to him at all. In fact, I would venture she has a bit of a "thing" for Om, maybe always did? Not sure. But she most certainly has a thing now! That loaded question "Bareilly main koi Pasand toh nahi

aya?" indicates that when she finds out about Gauri, her reaction may be one of jealousy. Unlike Tia who was in love with Robin, Svetlana is not in love with Tej. This may become personal for her. Om's response? The temperature went up 10 degrees right away! THAT is why I think the makers are actually being "Bold" here and trying to show a risque relationship for Om. I am actually happy they did this. Who knows, they may yet show her falling for Om. Then it will be a real fight for dominance between Svetlana who won't let Om go easily, and Gauri, who is content in loving him even from afar.

This gig just got really interesting now. I just had to make a post about this, because the scenes I enjoyed the most from the last episode of DBO was OmRu scene, then OmRu with Svetlana. Rudra's tashan with Svetlana, and then Om's dismissive yet totally hot interaction with Svetlana. When he came to the kitchen and asked the employee to leave and "dealt" with Svetlana. If the woman has no feelings for this guy, she's gotta be dead! 😳 On a side note, Kunal is looking so dapper at the moment. Just like the artist look was fetching, this new look is equally fetching. I feel he and Reyna have a really good chemistry and they both show that push-pull conflict between them really well. Since their engagement, all their scenes have been well executed. Hope they continue to explore the Risky business of SvetKara. We all know they are not end game, coz Omkara married Gauri on Shivratri and they are "destined" etc. So I for one am just getting Popcorn to enjoy the totally entertaining side show which is SvetKara!😉

First of all I think Swetkara brings the much needed spice in the otherwise done to death story of DBO lol. I mean you won't find a woman who used to have an affair with her fiance's dad as the villain of the fiance's love story anywhere on Indian TV. And SwetKara have such chemistry which can set the screen on fire. I confess that I enjoy SwetKara, yes it is disgusting but it is also unique and exciting.

I have always felt that Swetlana has the hots for Omkara. Even when she used to fool around with Tej. There was a scene where Swetlana says she loves Omkara to Tej and the distant, dreamy expression she had on her face set off a trail of fire in the IB forum lol. And when they came face to face for the first time in the show, when he asks her to get out of his house, the hate chemistry is so evident. It looked as if Swetlana is drawn to Omkara but he is as unattainable to her as the sun.

When Swetlana pledges to destroy Omkara for the humiliation he caused her her voice had fiery edge of a rejected woman. It is like you said, the fact that he will never reciprocate her love if she ever dared to love him infuriates her. She wants him, her actions says so but she knows that he would never even touch the tip of her hair with anything but repulsion and disgust. It would be fascinating if they would actually show her obsessing over Om. It wouldn't look one bit out of place.

I don't know how many chappals I will receive for this but I really think Swetkara marriage would make a great plot twist. For one it will be a FTW moment on TV. And Omkara's love story is too, how do you call it? Vannila I suppose.

Secondly I confess that I hate Gauri's ideologies. Real life doesn't work like that and her ideologies make her a flawed a character who needs an eye opener as much as Omkara. It is outrageous how they are showing Gauri's thoughts about Viswaas working. It's downright outrageous. Gauri needs to understand that whatever happened was not a marriage, that she has got serious misconceptions about the institution and love in general. I would hate it if they show Gauri's infatuation to the institution of marriage to be her love for Omkara and that love helping her in attaining him. For Godsake this is the 21st Century. Swetkara marriage can be an eye opener for her.

Also I am in love with the idea of Omkara in a loveless marriage falling in love with another woman. Let's face it Gauri is devoted to Om and she by herself cannot do what most deewanis wanted his Girl to do for him- Kick him down from his high horse, slap him with the realities of the very grey world and show him the mirror which will reflect his hypocricy. But a married Omkara in love with Gauri will have love doing all these things to him. He will finally find the grey and live out of his hypocricy.

Last reason is childish. I want to see Kalyani Dadi's face after SwetKara marriage. God I hate that woman ever since Shivika marriage lol.

After typing all that down I realized that this will never happen. But a girl can hope

Btw isn't this the first time that Ru has spoken a word to Swetlana? I loved it when he tried to be The Wall keeping out the " outsider" from the much cherished ObBro moments.

At one point of time SwetKara was a rage in the forum and we even had an AT for them. But I was always conflicted when it came to them. The fact that she was Tej's mistress gave me the michmichi, but there was something attractive about the possibility of a relationship between them- the pull of the forbidden factor😆

And now SwetKara has made a great comeback. I must admit that I was totally shocked that the CV's even considered something like an engagement between the two. Still remember the day when the engagement olv came out. A total FTW moment.😆 - Wild excitement , disbelief, horror and a grudging admiration . This is Indian Tellyworld after all, where sanskaari bahu's rule. And we have someone getting engaged to his Dad's mistress!

Now we have Gauri in OM adding to the fun. Staying in Patidev's room itself. Imagine her horror when she gets to know of the whole Tej-Jhanvi-Om-Swetlana mess. Hope she doesn't find this worse than Kaali Thakur and Bros One for all and All for one.😆

Just like many of you here the last thing I am looking forward to is a Patni Vs Sautan drama. Let the ObBros deal with Swet especially Baby in protective mode.Of course a big NO to all those endless pre- shaadi rasams for these two ( even as a tactic to buy time to plot and plan for the brothers). We have had enough of it with Bade Bhaiyya and his ladies.

Btw we still don't know what made Swetlana dump Tej and agree to Om's offer. Yes any girl in her right mind will choose the son, but still here we are dealing with a cold , calculating dangerous woman who has dedicated her life to seek revenge. It would be great to know what transpired at their meeting and also not to forget the events of the day when Om followed her to the house in that godforsaken place which led to the subsequent rape allegations. What has happened to Prinku's MMS? Did Om negotiate for that?How will Swet make sure that Om will not double cross her? Why is she so confident that Tej will take her back if she goes back to him ? And more importantly, after yesterday's eagerness to be addressed as Mrs.Oberoi, has this gone beyond a deal for her?

Kunal looks awesome here as OSO.I do miss Om's smile , the open hair and the easy going manners. But he looks HOT and we all know that Kunal can summon up chemistry with anyone and anything .

Yes even I hope they make Om deal with Svet, and not Gauri. The whole Sautan Vs Patni stuff, I really hate that stuff! But you never know they may do that here too. Already the Patni is in disguise working for the Sautan. I wonder how Gauri will feel when she finds out Svetlana used to be Jhanvi's sautan and now hers? LOL Sautan bani Saasu Ma! How twisted? 😆

But for sure this sort of stuff gets TRP! So I am sure they will use it! As long as they show some good drama between Om-Ru-Svet and even Jhanvi, I will be happy.

I hear Gauri will be forced to stay in Om's room for something. Totally Twelfth Night, She's the Man and Dil Bole Haddipa type themes going on here. I guess Om and Gauri will get to know each other and even like each other in this "disguise". If done well this may be entertaining. I can only imagine how things will be when Om and Svetlana find out who Gauri really is! OMG! 😆

Yes i m loving it.. n from the day of Engagement i m really Looking forward for this real love hate relationship. N i too feel soon it will be personal for swetlana when she will come to know abt RiKara marrige.. N i m waiting for it.. i want to see obssessed love side of her for Omkara.. N i m equally excited for RuLana Tashen.. last night we just got a glimpse of it.. now i want more and more..

Svetkara scenes are being executed well and I hope they don't mess it up but I think svetlana will be the tia in gauri-Omkara relationship.Somewhere makers will use Om-Gauri marriage to stop svetlana marriage,the only thing we should wait for is the person who is going to open the cat out of the bag.

Didn't IB have a track about Om-svet relationship and they broke up later or was it always one sided,haven't followed it much.Svet has the hots for all Oberoi's bros not just Om and Om being her favorite.😆😆
