Why need to show Gauri's things stolen?

It's not been even 4 days that Gauri was brutally tortured to almost death that more bad things started happening to her. Why need to show Gauri's things stolen? And then 2 lecherous nearly forcing themselves on her? Is it necessary that everyone coming to a big city for the 1st time gets their things stolen? Why need to show Gauri so naive to give her cell to someone and stupid to run leaving her things behind? Earlier she was shown smart with presence of mind but now cvs are making her dumb which is not digestible. Gauri can use internet bety well and learnt many things from it so she should know better on how to be safe and protect her belongings. Also it's common sense to not listen to any stranger. It's not a joke to get one's things stolen so easily when mobile is very important and there are many important documents in your luggage. The goons scene was fine but her things getting stolen was necessary. Why need to show all these to make a female lead helpless?

That guy played his side well. He acted like he is new here and someone stole his things. Gauri thought may be he is genuine. That's why she tried to show some humanity. But dropping her bag there is utter carelessness.

Village people are more possessive of their things. They are not as dumb as Gauri is shown by leaving her luggage and running because in village too such people are there so they are alert. But to show city people especially the male more smarter they are playing with Gauri's character like Anika was made to act dumb many times to show Shivaay smarter. Gauri was never this dumb. Remember how hard she tried to escape the wedding.

I know right ? I can hardly recognise this Gauri we are getting in the last 3 episodes. What happened to her intelligence, her resourcefulness ? Are we supposed to believe that after assuming herself as married she has lost her brain ?

I think it's aftereffect of people throwing stones at her head or maybe she is having too many hot dreams of Omkara and thus actually behaving so moony eyed.

And I have enough of her biswas jaap, can she just shut up about that and do some actions like she used to during her forceful wedding track.

Shrenu is a brilliant actress, her eyes are so very expressive. It's sad CVs are not using her talent.

Exactly my thought @TM. Standard nonsense shown in the name of entertainment. And what is it with the old fashioned trunk? It is ages since I have seen one and that too only on TV.

Guys...please don't have much expectations from Gauri after all she is Gul's FL

I did same mistake with Annika and it hurts later...even after watching Kushi and Zoya, I thought Annika will be different...

Just because Gauri is shown intelligent in first few episodes, don't expect more...

because if our expectations are low, then we will enjoy intelligent Gauri more and wont get hurt if she acts dumb...lets enjoy the show as it is

Gul recycled the trunk after Sia in HHL n Sanam in QH. Nowadays, even people of rural village let alone small town people commonly use suitcases or bags instead outdated trunks.

Ditto! They ruined most of their FL's. Sanam was good in QH, and then they gave her memory loss and she acted like she lost half her IQ with it. Lets not even talk of the last one Mahira who became a lost cause in no time.

Annika was good at first too and even I had high expectations from her, despite my previous experiences. But that also soon got dashed. Here I expect nothing. Because that way like you said you will be pleasantly surprised if you get anything at all. Gauri seemed smart and resourceful, how she got away from KT and his crowd, how she got the antidote for Omkara when he was shot by darts, and how she even drove that crane onto his car with internet instructions. She loves the internet and uses it to the max!

So a girl like that should have known better than to trust a random man to use her phone and turn around and her bag is gone. For dramatic effect they make the FL loose everything, so she needs to become destitute and dependent on the Hero, or someone connected to him! Gul's formula. I guess they want to keep their TRP's and what better way than to show a helpless heroine lost in the big smoke!

what amuses me more was someone wanted to stole that trunk!!! 🤣

I expected Mumbai thief to have better standard!!!
