How can actors/actresses give a big smile if they buy an award?

Lol I was just thinking how you hear so many buying their own awards, then going on stage and smiling like they never expected it!
Is it like the same concept of getting yourself a gift but, in this case it's a competitive field...so maybe not?

What are your thoughts on it?

I would add more
How do they give such shocked expressions? Also those speeches where they express how tough competition was and how the rest of nominations are far better n talented than them, how they were sure they wont win and how surprised n happy they are on winning

Its the same happiness and relieve what we feel after getting delivery of goods from online shopping . Getting award is like getting the courier of your prepaid good through Amazon Prime.

Most of them do better acting offscreen anyway... Onscreen they fizzle 😊

But to be fair politicians do better acting in real life and so do some non celebrities we meet in real life
