#Exclusive Kuch Rang is not going off air anytime soon: Yash Patnaik

Yash Patnaik who is producer of SET's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi lashes out all the rumours about closing the show which was making rounds from few days.

There has been rumour that Kuch Rang is closing down. Your comment on it.

Rumours are part of life. As you say it is a rumour. The show is going very strong.

TRP of show is comparatively on lower side, do you think you have enough drama in upcoming track to get back into the game?

We are already in the game. We are doing well on the channel in that slot.

Is there any court room drama coming up?

Kuch Rang does not need any drama to be in rating. It has its own charm and it will never get changed because of any pressure of ratings.

What do you want to say to all the rumour makers?

I have been journalist myself in past and this kind of article when they publish without cross checking with the makers, they knew that they are pulling crowd to their medium. That is why they want to write without even checking the facts. I find it ridiculous and irresponsible of those websites and those channels who didn't have the basic etiquette. It is unethical to not check with concerned people.

Don't you think that online viewership should also be included in BARC ratings?

I strongly believe it should be included because every episode has so many viewership. I thing its high time that rating authority should consider it. Every broadcaster has their own medium on internet and they are generating a lot of traffic. If traffic is generate it is not calculated.

Message to the audience.

This show is dedicated to them. Their love and passion towards the show is commendable. It is exciting for us too because of their love. I want to assure audience neither the show is going off air anytime soon, nor its going to deviate from its story telling that they have. Kuch Rang will retain its charm, its originality and kept entertaining them as it has in past one year.
