JNDSD~ My take Friday 24th February 2017 ~ forget get me not..

The tone of love ditties, forget me not my love.. depart not from my heart! changes rather rudely to the atmosphere of the bizarre, the macabre. The dead are being raised alive and kicking! Convenient memory losses are incurred . The episode almost has an eerie presence of an evil witch who has turned prince charming into a frog! The beauty seems to have been shipped off to a land of no return and the soldier is still ready with his heels clicked to be called for duty! All is well in the witches evil castle, all under her spell.. some good folks look up to the heavens for help.. waiting for love ditties to ring out in their land again.. forget me not my love.. depart not from my heart...

Use of worship and misuse of faith. Sujata is blessed ..whereas, she gives up and denies she her only son, she gains two sensitive caring children who by one look at her can read vividly the mountain of pain this mother figure carries within her. The silence of four years cannot break the habit of a mother from offering prayers of supplication for her son Atharv where ever he may be. For where else could she cry her heart out than before Devi maa , tears before a mother from a mother. For divine consolation is Sujata's need for worship, divine consolation.

Suman another mother waits to offer prayers for her son on his wedding anniversary.. her worship is a misuse of obeisance . A mere lip service to commemorate the day. As far as she is concerned the fierce goddess Kaali has supported her in smiting all who caused her grief in life. The son she waits for is Atharv .. bit of cynicism from him when he quips, temples, deities and prayers.. never really feels the need to communicate with them. Second time he shows poor punctuality regards this special day .Kept his wife waiting now this woman he sees as the one who gave him his new identity. Hence the orderly apology and a ceremonial hug for mother Suman whose son is Raghav Suman. This than is Atharv present day, shows somewhat affection and reverence for Suman.. she clearly withdraws from his display of affection. Shows reluctance in accepting the flower ,and the offertory from Raghav /Atharv s hand. One has to say ,that she never meant well or thought right for Atharv and his mother Sujata and even now in the viewers eyes there is silent sinister slyness in her smiles at Raghav/ Atharv .

Treating Vividha as a daughter and then getting her married to off Ravish four years ago proves beneficial for Sujata . Ravish is the proverbial good son in law, in fact both him and Vividha encourage her to grieve openly for Atharv if she needs to. Here again, as Sujata too sits at another temple when it comes to naming the person who the worship is for? before Sujata can overcome her reluctance, its Ravish who turns up with Vividha and Mahdav, utters the name that beats in Sujata's heart. Atharv Sujata!

Time for prayer and silent thanksgiving approaches, for Vividha it is gratitude to the gods for bestowing Ravish into her troubled life some four years ago till date. Vividha knows the road ahead in her life. Atharv .. knows the road he travels upon now.. but how he came upon this road is unknown.. all he knows is that he has been upon it, with a memory loss of the past four years. All is a blank sheet of paper. For his present family he counts it as a tremendous blessing..that gives him all the support and love he needs.. despite his loss of memories .. he gives thanks for losing memories of his forgone past, rather than suffer the loss of his present family. Is he brainwashed?.. mysterious ?

Once again Atharv is a victim of loss of memory since the last for years. Life for him is under the wing of his mother Suman, and the rest of her family. he has an expectant wife and his mother gives much importance to his wife.. who we later on discover is Guddi.. Atharv is the caring dutiful son to Suman , while Suman's son Ravish is the caring son to Atharv s mother Sujata .. who has a hand in this?

The flower, a pure symbol of reverence offered to the gods, or a sign by the gods. ..is offered by Raghav/ Atharv to the woman he considers his mother , Suman .. but she rejects it, advises him to give it to the other woman in his life his wife. It seems that both these two his wife and mother have a deep connection with Atharv's past and present life. .. element of mystery

While Vividha and Ravish seem to lead a normal family life, dealing with the proper ,healthy upbringing of the full of beans Mahdav. Ravish also being the supportive son in law , bails out Vividha's good for nothing bother Ankit out of hot water with his family.. Ravish also is protective of Mahdav over the lads pranks with other dairy business holders. When voices are raised and matters get to fisticuffs .. young Madhav folds his arms across his chest just like Atharv, his eyes flashing ,ready to defend his family just like Ravish does when the child is hurdled aside by the complainants ! one sees the love Ravish feels for the little tyke Madhav!

Raghav/Atharv too looks out for Suman his mothers ailment ,which is rather mysterious. She cringes at his sincere son like concern . Without his knowledge the woman rather be on her own then have any interaction with this son of hers. He is spellbound with concern and devotion for her.. even her being under the weather. He is told by his wife Guddi that the last thing mother wants is to give impression of being seen as some kind of weakling. Raghav /Atharv has immense pathos for Suman's life ,the hardships and sufferings, he presumes she had to endure in raising her family.

The last scene has to be the climax of the episode. The revelation that Guddi dead and buried has come to life and ends up in Suman's house posing as Atharv's pregnant wife... and worst still he has no memory of how it came about..

The precap, takes us out of some misery, as we discover that it was Suman who masterminds Guddi's resurrection! That Suman orchestrated Guddi's death all to give the girl a new lease of life to split Vividha and Atharv for good! Atharv was always a thorn in Suman's side..what with getting the chunk of his father's estate. Alongside , Suman in a way has punished her son Ravish as well for retrieving and establishing the bane of her life Sujata and Atharv into her happy and ticking away household. She had to give up her power and status and play second fiddle in her own household. Thus it appears that Suman by some freak foul play has expelled all on the righteous side like, Ravish, dadi ,Vividha ...out of her Vashist house and kept only her partners in crime with her like kalindi ,her son ,her daughter in law.

But her main .. trophy is Atharv now christened anew as Raghav! That pious, Sujata's son ..whose memory she has erased! All the recollections , recordings of things he held close to his heart.. the two women he loved Vividha and Sujata... eliminated from his mind forever! She has cast her evil spell on him and turned him into a smart zombie who is normal like the air he breathes, but he lives the life she has granted to him. Hence Raghav lives life in a half ..the present half.. the rest of his other half, lives in Ajmer about which he is unaware..

Till Raghav does not meet his other half... Vividha! He will continue to be half a man.. lets wait for the day when the penny drops and he feels the need to pick up the pieces of his life.. hamlet53 25.2.17

Wonderful post. You have said it all. Not only Suman but Ravish were both involved in faking Guddi'so death. There was no sadness in her or didn't even shed a.single tear on the funeral ay. Forget about consoling the grieving mother or grandmother. She didn't even talked to them despite they being the co -in-laws. No wonder she used to threaten Vividha in a deceptive way when Vividha wanted to find out about the murderer. .mean writing notes etc. Also Ravish if he is that clean and truthful then why didn't he never mentioned about the USB he had with him which contains Vitharva photos. Dada ji is also in it...
