Coming from rangoon & i am hell disappointed... SHAHID KAPOOR, a Brilliant Talent & again a flop will be added to his long list of Flops. (If not Flop, Rangoon will be Average or Semi-Hit, HIT waale chance is impossible it seems)

What's wrong with this guy, who is suggesting him these kind of films. Can't he get a usual commercial film that can get a HIT verdict.

His biggest grosser film is R...Rajkumar, a masala film. Awards he has got for Haider, Kaminey(nominations) & Udta Punjab. He isn't getting good in any medium of films he do. If he does masala, harsh criticism happens ke kya kar liya, art films mein audience nahi aati, awards or critics se appreciation will put him in other list only.

Shahid or any of his close ones reading this thread - GET HIM 1 Commercial film, no matter how crap script is if it has HIT Film elements, this content Art Hatke films only will ruin his career like anything & ppl will forget him faster than yesteryear stars.

26 Films - 2 Hits, 10 Success. There is still Time, just 1 BIG COMMERCIAL Film he needs.

Rangoon - Shahid's part & Befikre film i liked... sadly Befikre bombed @ box office, really felt that Ranveer has come out on his own, it wasn't good enough for audience. Even felt bad for Vaani, she was delight to watch, kal hi dekhi dubara Befikre on hd print, now liked even more, those funny 1 liners.

These yound guys should do more n more FUN / Masala films, ek baar audience mein jam jao, bc phir karlo Lootera ya phir Rangoon jaisi Art jhandu se filmein.

Heard Ranveer will do Zoya akhter's film, now if he will do, gaya kaam se.

I would suggest Shahid should do 2-3 more R...Rajkumar kind of films, & Ranveer to do Gunday / Befikre kind of romantic films on his own... kari jao films, HIT ho hi jayenge...

He usually always has a big lineup. Now he has nothing other than 2nd lead in Padmavati

Saif is Senior to Shahid, Saif came when Khans, Kumar & Devgn came, comparing with Shahid who came in 2000 decade is stupid.

Yes, Saif is bigger star than him, but he is also nowhere when u see him doing films from 90's & now not even in Top 10 Stars.

Shahid was always bad in his film choices. It's not only about film choices, it's also about script sense. Even the content of his commercial movies like Shandaar, PPNH and Mausam also aren't upto the mark. R Rajkumar worked more because of trend of masala movies, otherwise it was also pretty much a bad movie IMO. Doing movies like Haider, UP and Rangoon in struggling days isn't good either. His upcoming movie Padmavati is a risky project, recovering costs will difficult because of high budget. Even if the movie works, DP and RS will take the entire credit. His time is over now, and I think even he knows that. That's why he has started doing art movies I guess.

I Sincerely hope he should get his Dhoom, Kick or Heropanti kind of film, at least 1 film where his potential is matched with scale of film.

Any commercial film maker reading this thread, hire Shahid if u can... Rohit Shetty hi le le jaar isko.

He is wasting it himself in a way and I guess he failed to capitalize on his vivah phase where things were commercially well set for him and then i guess he found a cushion in performance oriented not so successful films and with Shandaar he tried to break free but again it didnt work, VB films have always managed to keep Shahid afloat in recent times hopefully amidst all the DeepVeer hullabaloo Shahid might actually steal the show and walk away with a potential big hit in Padmavati! But even if Padmavati fails him having moved to Kjo camp will give him that chance to bounce back! OffBeat roles are fab but to survive you need to be commercially bankable , he is a fine actor totally commercially viable BUT he needs to make better choices n not get stuck in the offbeat zone!
