KRPKAB fans - this is my first separate post. I have been voicing my opinion mostly on Tia's threads as I feel most resonated to the opinions voiced there. I may be looked upon as Team Sonakshi, but as a mother of a girl, I am not team Dev or even team Sonakshi. Rather I am in the team right. And when I read many threads on the forum always finding an opportunity to blame Bijoy or Sona, I question what the thought process is of our today's society? The lines between Shaheer & Dev may become blurred but isn't there a wisdom to see through the wrong? TRP games may be dictating the onscreen CRAP dished out, but don't the writers & CVs have some sense of responsibility of changing the thought process of the young minds at least?
The likes and dislikes of a girl after marriage, her rights in parents and in-laws house is a done and dusted debate. Having been blessed with a very understanding husband and in-laws, my heart goes out to all who have faced the other side of the world and I feel ashamed to read the thought process of many still supporting Dev. But each one to their own likes and so I am not starting this debate over again.
But at least now, after 7 years leap, when the CVs have shown an independent Sonakshi raising a bright young girl in the right direction (yes I can't fathom the pathetic mindset of Suhana if she were raised in mad Dixit mansion) the CVs still choose to show that a woman's real worth is only after bearing a child? 👎🏼
I AM LOST 😔
I stumbled on this spoiler (perhaps for tomorrow's episode)
We all know how Ishwari is, so it's not a surprise that she's saying that had she known that Sonakshi came with her grandchild she would have never let her go. But Dev 🤢
Where is the growth in the characters? Has Dev really changed? Men still need to succumb to booze (& other vices) to face problems in life? Isn't it the biggest proof that women are stronger (mentally at least) than men? Then why don't we raise our girls with the right thought process? In the least to be able to see the difference between right and wrong!
I know, all you sensible women have already voiced these questions 1000 times after the serial derailed. And the current track keeps bringing me (& most of us) back to the same question. What is a woman's worth?
In the tele world and seems in the society (globally) too it is only after giving birth to a kid. Perhaps 20-30% of the society is an exception who have moved beyond this notion and is liberal in the true sense. Women have achieved so much and have shown time and again their ability to thrive and succeed without a man's support. When is the tele world going to show the real world and contribute to the change in the cliched thought process of the society???
I agree the control of the remote is in my hands, but that does not solve the problem!
Any thoughts welcome 😊
