As a woman and the mother of a daughter, I completely agree with you!
They need to show the young girls and women that their worth is not calculated on what the backward society expects of them but on their own merits and achievements.
These TV shows nowadays are shockingly regressive. They seem to be brainwashing female audience that a woman's worth is only when she produces a child, then only she will be valued in her sasural.
Good going, chauvinistic writers, as if there wasnt enough abuse and exploitation of women in Indian households. You have to show this mentality on ur show and present it as an acceptable POV 🤢

Just the fact that she did come back, she wanted him to meet his daughter, that shd enrage Dev and turn him against his mother.

The dailymotion vdo shows Dev telling Ishu that nobody will meet Soha because he wants her to come of her own free will, I hope this is a sign that hes finally realized what a toxic household he lives in and how utterly selfish and manipulative his dear mom is. 🤢
