I need to express my feelings for this movie. So excuse me and ignore me
K&S is first mainstream Bollywood movie that sincerely showed the reality of Gays.Here was a man, Rahul Kapoor, who was normal, handsome, successful and charming, yet Gay.
Hats off to Shakun for showing the story of Rahul Kapoor and his struggle to live up to his families expectations.
Ratna was fabulous in confrontation scene . So was Fawad. I get goosebumps whenever I watch that scene. It is sublime acting.
First time, normal Indian housewives and aunties ( I don't mean in disrespectful way) saw a movie on Gay character and did not joke about them.
It helped that Fawad Khan played that role.He is heart throb of many housewives, most of my family's women are in awe of this man.He has such strong female following, still he risked it for that role onscreen. If he was not playing this role, many would not have gone to watch this movie. So thank you Fawad Khan for forcing these women to come and see this movie, in a small way, you contributed to acceptance of Gays in their own families.
I want to meet this man once to just say "Thank You very much for playing Rahul Kapoor"
A lot of gays are like Rahul Kapoor, they are absolutely normal people. They have respectful jobs , wear decent clothes , not everyone wears feminine jewellery and lipsticks.
They love and live like normal people. Rahul Kapoor represents Gay community more than other BW caricurish characters
I wish there is K&S 2 where story of Rahul is carried forward, how was his life after revelation. Maybe end it with Rahul and his partner adopting a kid and leading normal life.
