@Aarti: lol, you actually watched K-shows to impress your MIL? 😆 😆 😆 Yaar, yeh shaadi karne ke baad kitne papad belne padte hain in-laws ko impress karne ke liye??

Don't worry, I totally believe and understand why you wouldn't watch these shows...lol, ironically enough I have been scornful of them most of my life too...and then out of the blue, started watching one with my Mom one day, just cuz I was bored and got hooked on to the story...baaki sab to timepass hai...nothing's hooked me on Indian TV like DMG has.

and yes, speaking of Kekta...was flipping thru the channels this evening and happened to catch 5 minutes of one of her new shows...she was taking potshots at HERSELF in it!! 😆 😆 One of the characters is apparently in the TV industry, I think...and she was talking about showing some random festival celebration scene b/w the main leads even though they are divorced and hate each other...or something to that effect....and the way she was going on and on about the thunder/lightening camera effects was hilarious!! I was just really surprised to see Kekta making fun of her very own self!!

@ anu...bahut papad belne padte hain...my husband traveled a lot then and we still didn't have our won place, hence...hmm. ekta laughing at herself...good for her!!! at least she is aware she and her shows are ridiculous!!!!
