JNDSD~ My take Monday 20th February 2017 ~ keep me out of the equation!
Humans can be resilient , even the weakest ones will try what is best for them to come out of messy scenarios they encounter in life. However this too is no surprise that humans can try ways of escaping from predicaments they face, by altogether avoiding undesirable consequences of issues surrounding them. When squabbles, sticky, complicated situations get more difficult and out of hand, people do wish to be out of the loop.. especially when people find themselves in a one to one with another, or as part of a group. They want to be out of the equation ! out of an unresolved event. For an unresolved issue shows more a gap of views and less of coming together at a central point! In the episode , we see this unresolved conflict, the issue of Vividha and Atharv s imminent marriage carries on further. Vividha's willingness and Atharv s reluctance are at loggerheads .Ravish the champion peacemaker wants to walk out of someone else s mess ! seems he's had enough! Recently all three of the super trio, Atharv,Vividha and Ravish seem to walk on egg shells .Each one has a moral issue that makes them obdurate in their stance and thus even if they want to step out of the equation. The trio find themselves very much part of it.
His love for her has been an equation.. as Atharv has always seen Vividha on par with him. Yes he refuses to marry her but he cannot just walk out of this equation which has some variables.. for him the only variable that matters to him is her! for old times sake he tries to reason with her..in time she will realize that he was right all along, that eventually her respect for Ravish will transform into love. Now even his gentle feel upon her shoulder can lead her on! and so Atharv withdraws his hand lest he defile one whom he with a heavy heart passes on to his equivalent Ravish.. more insults from this stubborn oafish beast her love Atharv Sujata .. vividah bellows like a banshee !get out! Out! He was being obnoxious! For Atharv it was shock plus deep smarting. ,she loathes him! but hell isn't that what he wanted? that she loathe him through and through?
Approach of the warrior turned peacemaker.. this scene to me is all about non -military psychological undermining, where Ravish ,makes use of psychological tactics to disconcert and disadvantage Atharv and Vividha both! in their mindsets by causing them both uncertainty , fear or anxiety! Ravish too takes to role play like his half brother Atharv to bring out the true sentiments of the two lovers..so that both Vividha and Atharv can see they are both trapped in the alley way! and the only option to them is to kiss and make up and get on with they have pending on the cards.. get married! The scene has a certain bravado to it when Ravish charges in as the savior of a damsel in distress Vividha , to save her from her awkward beau Atharv! In typical army style Ravish roughs up his older brother!he by the collar literally drags him down before all for an award winning performance! For that is what it is .. Ravish is in no way going to lay into Atharv like he had done to him. Instead he would launch a caustic, pungent , psychological war against both Vividha and Atharv.. firstly he has both of them wondering what he is up to? Well it is mind games which Ravish plays..his strategy is clear first he targets Atharv .. he is fed up of offering clarifications to him that yes he loves Vividha but that she only loves Atharv and by throwing her back in his face! Atharv rubs salt on his wounds! Ravish assumes the corrosive approach of his mother Suman to gradually puncture Atharv's anger by accusing him from ruining his life since birth...it's bad enough.. to tolerate his existence in his family! on top of it the girl he loves ends up loving him too! Atharv retorts, if their marriage smarts him then why is he bending backwards to get them married? Does he want to be seen as a god? Ravish gets the moment when he can slap Atharv and further rough him up!all for special effects! In turn Vividha slaps Ravish as he so desires.. but Atharv keeps his lid on ..and restrains and bounces off Ravish's first degree treatment military style, by remaining unmoved.. Ravish swiftly changes his strategy and launches a scathing attack on Vividha.. he attacks her for messing about him and his family! mocks her integrity and intent! Scoffs at her up bringing ! calls her names selfish! Stupid! and finally he almost verbally threatens her and that is it! Game up Atharv nearly goes for Ravish's jugular! and slaps Ravish! Ravish ceases his army style attack on foes as his two targets reveal what he is looking for and aimed to show all.. that his targets, namely used their minds to assesses their love and its present outcome .. he points out that in matters of love it's the heart that needs to take decisions.. seeing that they both love each other. As when one is attacked the other leaps to rescue and defend the other! It's time to kiss and make time ..and the warrior peacemaker emerges victorious ! when Vividha embraces the man she loves! her Atharv .. her heart presses against his..and it looks like the marriage will go ahead as planned..
Atharv arms almost go around her upper back.. but his true sorry state freeze their move..one look at his mother speaks of the cry from the inner recesses of his heart..the performance was certain a curtain call for Ravish.. but for Atharv a swansong that naught can hear.. but it is a wailing that swans make before they die.. they die singing their song.. let me hold you then, my beloved Vividha as this may be our last embrace.. ...
Yet one more time Vividha preens herself for her love ..her Atharv .. how Ravish who wished to be out of the equation.. due to her willingness and Atharv's rejection actually ironed out creases in their seemingly hopeless situation. Now happy days are here again..she dreams of being with her love.. she had to fall in love with him it had to happen..not long to go now my heart..
Yes Atharv loves her by his heart..she will always will be the one woman who wanted to marry him.. yes she was his bride back in the day when they had vowed eternity into their everlasting love..now it seems temporary ..he has to check his heart! for his mind fails him.. he knows now what he has to do.. fade away ,ride away in the sunset. He has the heart to bottle his grief ..but to give Vividha impending doom he cannot contain. Yes he will do the honorable thing although many will see it as his cowardice .. but if putting your woman before your self is cowardice than Atharv rather be that! than a selfish brave heart !
So when the woman who bore him comes to Atharv, he looks her in the eye and with tears hanging in his eyes he explains to her about the inevitable hurt , that headed Vividha's way.. he will be giving it to her now.. instead of delaying it.. for the bigger truth than Ravish and Vividha's equation is that her son Atharv's equation..the mother of all truths that he is dying ... hamlet53 21.2.17
Another poignant episode.. the super trio engaged in full on drama.. things seem to be sorted! wedding all set to happen but not without the big question.. but where is the groom? the image of the two empty vases crashing to the floor are ominous symbols for me, are the brothers in future going to be at logger heads with each other ??
