So, I am back here again, this time with a piece of poetry. This one is on Arjuna and Draupadi and dedicated to Moumita(Girl, here goes your impending treat. Hope you like it!) and quite obviously to my little ArDi gang!
This takes place after Arjuna, post his encounter with Lord Shiva in the Himalayas and his adventures in Indraloka, retraces to the forests where his brothers and draupadi are. You see this through the eyes of draupadi as her longing heart at last finds peace.

PS-Its exceedingly short.šŸ˜›

THE RENAISSANCE

Collapsing into his arms, i finally felt whole,

Healing the bruises on my crest-fallen soul.

Yearnings bore tears, perpetual fears post,

In the tranquil warmth of his palm, i so wanted to get lost.

He forayed into my eyes,

Heart beats held high,

Slender fingers entangled my hair,

Infinite unuttered words of love and care.

Giving away tales of warriors and woes,

Speaking of martial and ferocious foes.

But i knew none of what he preached,

For my treacherous ears had long surceased.

Substantiating my gaze to his toes, i gasped,

Brooding over the distances that they had lapsed.

From somewhere above the clouds, an earnest stream passed,

Renewing the charm of life and love, Renaissance it was.

What a lovely piece of work Ramya. Can visualise the longingness of Draupadi and the tranquilizing effect Arjuna had on her soul and mind. 😊

Rammy, you are an amazing poetess ā¤ļø
The Renaissance is an apt name for this poem. There is romance and light sensuality, wrapped in a love that was portrayed beautifully. Well done Rammy šŸ‘šŸ‘

This was an absolute treat! Draupadi's yearning finally comes to an end as she loses herself in Arjun's arms. The poem was beautiful and had a very smooth course! Loved it! <3

WHAT A BEAUTY !!!😃

Wonderful Poem Rammy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😳

Ardi Have always been one of my favourites in the epic, but you gave such a contemplative light of their separation, its so amazing 😳😃😃
It displays such a wonderful array of emotions and I love the scheme you have used !!

It was almost like a song, the kind of which become Love Themes with the violins and grand piano (apologies for the musical imagination šŸ˜†šŸ˜†)

But truly, its a masterpiece :)

Do write more!

P.s. Awaiting the Thriller ASAP after Boards šŸ˜†

This is SO beautiful, Ramya. You have aptly described Draupadi's yearning for Arjuna, and their reunion was written so sweet. You really have a flair for poetry. šŸ˜²šŸ‘ I suck at it. šŸ˜†

Can you write one on Bhima-Draupadi after he kills Dushashan and washes her hair with his blood?

And Yudhisthir-Draupadi as she sees his repentance and assuages his guilt, and finally forgives him.
