Before i pour out my thoughts i just want you'll to know that this is not a dev bashing post. I'm just thinking out loud and sharing my opinion.
So the thing about dev is that he does not admit and accept anything. Even his own fault (much like ishwari). Last week sona herself admitted that the separation was due to both of them. she admitted that somewhere even she went wrong but dev still refuses to believe that he too is at fault.
Another thing, he just doesn't understand the risks and tribulations his family puts on others, he knows its wrong and also tries to bring the victims out of it but in that process he doesnt even consider the consequences the people have to face. I know i sound vague but let me give examples-
In friday's episode he calls elena to bose house knowing very well that his mami and vicky and his mother have put restrictions on elena. He knows that they'll question her and get even more paranoid but he still declares that he's outside sonakshi's house and insists on elena coming. his intentions are good but he fails to understand that at the end of it all, everyone will blame sona and elena and will plot even more. He doesnt have to face anything. He could have just told elena to come to some address under some work excuse and then taken her to meet the boses but he chose not to.
He did this with Sona so many times. Remember when he yelled at ishwari for whole upwas thing ? he meant well but who went into ishwari's bad books ? Sonakshi. Hell when Dev lied about the pregnancy, even then sona was blamed. It's a different matter that the dixits just want a reason to suppress boses but dev knows the situation right ? atleast now he does. Yet doesn't admit that his impulsive actions such as spying on sona, calling elena, interfering in sona's life, etc makes his family do stupid things. and if anyone confronts him about it, he gets offended. I just want him to do things maturely now and manage his sociopath family cunningly.
Also why are people bashing bijoy these days. ok i agree wanting to get sona married again is dumb but his hatred towards dev is kinda justified. He wasnt this cold to dev initially...but if your daughters boyfriend breaks up with her because his mom wants him to, then patches up again because his mom's ok with it, then the daughter is lowkey torchered by her inlaws while her husband hides her medical condition and lies about her being pregnant, which father would not want his daughter to stay the f**k away from such a man ? just my thoughts feel free to add/correct anything.
