that is Om...he don't lie..not for a tiny bit and he won't tolerate if anyone lies...that's why Rudy call him Sach Ka boyfriend..He badly insulted Ishana bcz she lied to him...he broke up with Ridhhima bcz she lied to him..he don't care about the reason behind the lie..for him it's only Black and White..there is no Gray...that's why in the 1st epi of IB Dadi said Om needs a partner who will teach him that it is not all White and Black..there is also Gray..life me kabhi kabhi jhut bolna jaruri hai..

I'm glad they didn't change that essence of OM... He's changed on the outside.. has a harder shell. But deep down he's still the same OM. He won't lie. I like it... even if the situation says otherwise.

truly i love omkara for who he is... truthful and high on morals... but at that moment it just got so funny 😆... gauri was trying to cover up the moment and planning how to escape and om just blurted that she asked for mobile and her face expression was like what the eff 😆...

This is the point. He only ever lied once, and that was to save his sister. If not he never lies. He is a very black and white type person who can be very boxed in about how things should be. His Brother Rudra calls him "Sach Ka Boyfriend". This is one of his failings. He can be very narrow.

Om was supposed to get a grey lead, coz she was going to show him that sometimes LIES are necessary to sustain your life or your circumstances. But they scrapped that woman. In fact they ruined his character somewhat by introducing a Hit and Run case where his sister ran over someone on her 18th birthday when he let her drive his car, and they looked for the person but didn't find her. But they hid it and didn't tell anyone. That is when Om started to take drugs. (We knew he had started to take drugs at some point and everyone assumed it was because he was depressed about his parent's marriage and the atmosphere in his household, but it was more than that).

Other than that incident which made him so guilty he was not able to live normally, he has never lied. He did something contrary to his character and that is why he couldn't live with himself. If he is someone who lies or does unethical things to achieve his aims all the time then he won't care, coz he thinks he is right. But Om is not like that. Both he and Priyanka's life's got messed up. But they eventually found out the girl is not dead but in a coma. (THIS was Gul's idea of giving Om a proper track and that track turned into the sister's love-hate saga with the ACP brother of the victim). Don't even ask! 😆

Finally, they are focusing on Om, and how he acted was totally in character. He thinks Gauri is now giving dhoka to KT after getting ready to marry him, by wanting to chat with another guy. Also, in the dance she was all over him (We know why but HE doesn't). He thinks she is shameless. So he put her in it and told KT she was trying to phone someone. Spiteful, and I was like "Oh no he didn't". But if you knew Om like we have for the past 8 months this is what you would expect him to do. Especially if he thinks the person is lying for their own benefit not to save themselves from harm. (Which is what Gauri is doing but Om doesn't know that).

Khabhi kabhi Jhoot main hi sab ki balayi hoti hain. In this case it was the same. But Om of course had no idea. He is on the judgment train thinking Gauri is some Chalu woman who is playing KT and probably another guy too.

Their first meeting he thought she seemed full of standards and then to see her marrying KT and then the Thakurain trying to kill herself, he has applied his Mom's situation here. He is being judgemental and thinking ALL women in such situations are like Svetlana. He learnt from the best!

I am waiting to see Gauri's reaction when SHE finds out Om got engaged to his Mother's sautan! What language will she use to describe that? Diware pe sat jawe or something! 😆
