In a short span of a little over six months, Star Plus Ishqbaaz has done something that was unheard of in Indian TV programming. It is the first show to get its own spin-off Dil Bole Oberoi. The new show hit the Tv screens this week and has got an encouraging response. However, one of the biggest highlights of Ishqbaaz is the sizzling chemistry between Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna). The two set the screen afire every time they come closer. TV is getting bolder by the day and many actors have expressed reservations about how intimate they want to get onscreen. However, Nakuul Mehta feels there are no shortcuts to anything.
In a statement to The Times of India, Nakuul was asked about his cracking chemistry with Surbhi Chandna and inhibitions, considering he's married. The actor replied, "I agree that we have a crackling chemistry on screen. How sad would it be if it weren't for that since the show is called Ishqbaaaz'? It also helps that my last show was a romantic saga (Pyaar Ka Dard), so by now, romance comes easy to me. Having said that, Surbhi is a delight to work with." The pair is lovingly called ShiVika by fans and people are crazy about their tashan-laden romantic escapades.
Nakuul has been a part of the entertainment industry since a long time. He began his career as an actor with a Telugu flick that never got released. The actor was seen in Haal-E-Dil with Adhyayan Suman. He was asked whether he would like to go back to films. The dashing hero replied, "I am a leading star on Indian TV and take that position of privilege with a lot of responsibility. Hard work has got me here and I'm fully committed to television. TV stars are often asking about not making it in movies but we don't question a movie star about not succeeding on TV. It is not easy to get a show in the prime time slot."
Well, given the fact that Indian TV shows have a global audience now, many TV stars are more popular than Bollywood actors over the world. This is a perfect reply from the TV hottie to everyone who thinks TV is easy. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more updates...

it irritates me when people get asked if their marital status will affect their profession

nakuul n surbi have done so many romantic scenes--- hes even kissed her on the forehead so they are open to showing some intimacy on screen

everyone has their limits but why do married people always get asked

but im glad they have great chemistry

:-)
