Disclaimer : This post is operating on the assumption that Annika is faking her memory loss, which I'm pretty sure of. They (CVs) are probably enjoying pulling our legs with all the second guessing we are doing. I'm enjoying the prank or non prank, whichever. Even if they decided to change the ML to real, it still would be a really good prank.
So, Pinky reveals it in the ugliest blatant manner, "Shivaay is your husband in name only, but he is Tia's baby daddy." And she just listens in shock, and leaves. No drama, no OTT reaction, she just leaves. To think.
Billu feels awful, so he makes her favourite Aloo Puri (I will always be saying it OmRu Angrezi styleđ) and goes to sit with her. She sits with her head in her folded lap in a childlike manner.
Annika has to keep the pretense going, things are unravelling before her eyes, yet she has to keep the focus on Tia, and Dushyant, not on her and her platonic marriage to Shivaay. Shivaay is doing his best to be the best sweetest husband ever, out of guilt or genuine caring , take your pick, and she hates to upset him.
So she has to choose between making a huge drama of crying and being pathetic and ranting at her awful husband for making another woman pregnant, or taking all the blame upon herself for being such a useless wife because she couldn't bear him a child.
Remember , she does not remember anything. Yet, she is not asking who her father is, or mother is, or if she has siblings, where she lived before she got married, NOTHING. She is not supposed to know that he has not laid a finger on her (let alone anything elseđ) to warrant her failure to conceive.
But she doesn't want to upset Shivaay , so she makes him awkward. And boy, HOW AWKWARD was he??𤣠This guy is SUCH A PRUDE . I swear, this is the cutest platonic marriage I have ever seen. He is SO CARING, and understanding, and yet , there is no lusting. (Yet. God knows when the CVs are going to turn this switch on) There is 100% TLC in his eyes for her, yet he won't give her the words.
Billu is taken aback with the "barren" drama that he is so flustered that he plasters her mouth shut and begs her to please stop talking đ..her imaginary kids Shivika and Ansh... đ his face was utterly priceless!!
It's not supposed to be funny, and yet it was. Hats off the team for giving me this curious contradiction of feelings.
[side note: Can Shivaay please stop saying "Everything will be fine" , and "I'll fix everything" ?? He's not doing anything !!]
Kalavathy tried to make sense of everything:

That smile she gave when he asked for a pinky promise... All the small things he does between them, that makes her heart swell up with love...
When he came back to kiss her forehead, it was filled with pure concern for her wellbeing. There is so much respect in his heart for her honesty, loyalty and goodness, it stumps me to understand why he cannot find it in his heart to give her his name.
