Just because he went through a hard time doesn't validate his behavior because she doesn't have it easier either with a man literally putting her in chains and forcing her to marry him.

Throwing money at her was disgusting behavior. There was literally no need to take that far since he was in the right and the land belonged to him. He chose to behave that way because he could. He's not the same Om because the writers know this the only kind of lead that sells.

Agree on this but that is how most of ppl around world behave very few behave sanely and this is where gender comes in girls are more forgiving than guys but guys after hard time become ruthless seen it with many ppl

Ok guys , I've hearing it a lot in this forum that the character of Om has been destroyed beyond repair , he's not the Om we know . But the worst of it all , some are saying that he has turned into a typical MCP !!😲

But ,in all the RiKara scenes today, not for a single time Om raised his voice or sounded impatient though he was actually impatient .
Also after the car breaking scene and all the hungama Gauri created Om was not clearly interested in continuing the fight . That's what I absolutely loved about him .👏nowhere he was the typical angry young man people saying he has turned into .
And if he was the MCP we are saying he is then he could have just snatched the phone from her hand . There was simply no need for him to answer her questions and that too after what she did a few hours back . She almost raised a hand on him, was very rude, calling him stuffs, he didn't lost his cool . I'd have in his place . He's still the typical MCP ?What show people are watching I wonder .😕
Om has turned calculative , focused and determined to show Tej what he can do , to crack this deal as soon as possible , get the land , get project and the money , give it to Svetlana and to keep her miles away from his parents' life . He is not here to pick up fights with random persons because his ego has been hurt ( like typical AYMs of our hindi telly shows do ) .

Let me know what you think of Om from today's epi . You are absolutely free to disagree with me .😃😆You can throw chappals at me too ( but please throw new ones , so that I can collect and use them in my surgery clinics😛) .

I did call him an MCP and I did feel he was in the episode. I did not see any difference between how he broke Gauri's shop and threw money at her face and what Shivaay did to Anika. If Shivaay was an MCP for what he did then Omkara was no different. He did not snatch the phone from her and bore all her non sensical rants, that I give to him. His initial actions were all done because much like Shivaay he believed money can get things done. That much was made clear when he said that he can break Gauri's vishwaas with a flick of his finger. How was that any different from all the crap the Shivaay used to spew at Anika initially?
No amount of past can justify our horrendous present actions. An eye for an eye will make the world blind in my opinion. Omkara is doing all of this for his family but that does not mean he is right .
We can all respectfully disagree dear and there is never a need to throw anything at anyone.
Good day to you.

But dnt knw what he will think about her when jhanbi will reveal that thakur is marrying gauri.. MU on the way.. 😆

I agree with you that he should have dealt with her with more tact and sensibility but I guess he was just getting really impatient and not to forget that he is in a really disturbed mental state right now .
But he later realised it was a stupid move and didn't helped him any way . So he just let Gauri go after she broke his car though he could have send her to jail . Remember he has the power and money to do that easily . But he did nothing. 😳

In serials, only the FLs are forgiving (Jhanvi, Anika, and soon Gauri), but the women that retaliate are vamps (Svetlana). As far as she is aware her and her family have been wronged and suffered as well, but the audience doesn't give the same leniency as the hero. Gender doesn't really matter in terms of showing cruelty on television because the writers are equal opportunity. There is a grandmother torturing a child on SP right now. Personally, I don't like characters that hurt people because their hurting. I'm also not a fan of the "ends justify the means" types either.

In real life, woman can be just cruel or worse than man based on the news headlines I read.
