at the onset of monday this week i was feeling quite low thinking devakshi is going thru a rough patch with constant ego clashes and attempt to prove to each other that they hv moved on...this is the valentine week and i had no hope of getting any "love"ly scenes...
but the makers had quite a surprise in store for us...the much awaited moment when dev will meet his daughter for the first time came on the eve of valentine and needless to say the scene surpassed all my expectations...
it was a scene that cant be described in any words...so i will just go with the flow of my thots...
as soha started with how baby girl never met her dad and so she has come to the big city to search for him dev could instantly connect with her...blood calls and here somewhere deep inside dev too misses being a father to a daughter...dev was always fond of little girls and although golu has filled the empty space in his life the father in him is waiting for the day wen someone will actually call him papa...
as soha continues her tale of how the baby girl met her father and forgave him saying socho agar mein waisi beti hoti to...and dev cud see his past in her...the spl relationship that he shared only with sona he cud see the reflection of its colors in this little girl...for dev the moments spent with sona have been the most precious time of his life and today to get a glimpse of that moment instantly brought a smile on his face...
as sona was describing the moment of meeting between baby girl and her dad she was at loss of words obviously the moment that she secretly wishes to occur in her life she cant describe it before experiencing it...as she turned toward her right her eyes met a smiling man...an instant chord was established as dev gestured toward his heart with a victory sign clearly implying listen to ur heart and success will follow...
the smile that they shared at that moment seemed to fill the air in between them with unsaid words as soha completed her speech by saying that the baby girl's dad promised never to leave her again leaving dev to wish he cud one day make a similar promise...
then the next day (valentine's day) scene...loved a few moments...
the call that came from school made dev leave everything to get to school...vicky was standing there but dev left in a hurry just gets to show golu is more his son than vicky's...loved how dev did not even look at his mom leaving her to feel how badly she encroaches his space which he is never in the mood to welcome...
now the most beautiful moments...
dev giving her flower as vday gift...though deeply in love with sona he never got the chance to spend this day with her...for him soha is his first valentine and he cud make it no more spl than gifting her a rose...
soha's refusing ice-cream since she has a bad throat reminding dev of nutritionist sona...
dev mesmerized by the kind gesture of this small girl as she gvs the icecream to a poor child and feels a strange kind of pride of such well-mannered girl...
this pen is accepted by dev as a special valentine gift from his first ever valentine...maybe this pen will rewrite his love story in a way that it will be etched down in the glory of history...
