Also the actors can be very image and character conscious wanting to be exact in their outfits so that give the character a particular vibe, ex: Dev with his suave Casanova! And actors might prefer clothes from their collection for better fit and ease of wear:d I think many actors who have had long running shows wear their own clothes or at least have stylists curate their wardrobe, so they look great on screen
