Manali started off so beautifully. ViTharv fighting with each other, then Atharv saving Vividha and eventually both of them protecting and shielding each other from all danger and harm, walking hand in hand every step of the way. Just like a husband and wife.

Until they found Ravish.
The last one and a half episodes have been horrible to watch. In the name of patriotism, they have made each one of the characters say and do pathetic things. I'm not even going to talk about some of the things shown because they just made me feel so uncomfortable. I think I was even more happier then ViTharv and Ravish to see the indian army because then i knew that this track was finally all over.
I think we all know by now the spoiler that Atharv is going to pretend to become baby Atharv again because he thinks Vividha loves Ravish. I kept thinking how would this even be possible. This is Atharv we are talking about. The man who knows Vividha inside out, and who knows exactly what she is feeling just by reading her eyes. The man who is so passionately and completely in love with Vividha that he defied death twice to be with her. So why would he give her up? Why would he lie bacause the Atharv we know would never pretend.
And when i saw the jeep scene today so many of my questions were answered.
Atharv has always been the centre of Vividha's universe. When he is around, she sees no one and cares about no one except him. Yet today, he watched as Vividha made Ravish comfortable and took care of him.He saw his brother looking at Vivdha with love in his eyes. He noticed that it wasn't Atharv she was worried about but Ravish. And it hurt. The stab in his heart was reflected in the pain in his eyes. He totally misread Vividha's care for something else. Already, there was a doubt in his heart that she was in love with Ravish and her actions only multiplied that thought.
And when they finally reached home, the media was there to greet Ravish as the hero and Vividha as the wife who saved him. No mention of Atharv. Not one word about how he had helped Vividha cross the border to save his brother. Not one mention about how he had saved Ravish by not only freeing him from the terrorists but saving his life by throwing away the bomb that had been attached to him. Who cares that Atharv was shot for trying to save Vividha's izzat. All the media cared about was the army hero Ravish.
As Atharv was simply pushed out of the way by the reporters because he was deemed unimportant, Vividha was bombarded with questions and was constantly referred to as Mrs. Vashisht. As she remained silent, a proud and deluded Suman told the reporters that she was as proud of her daughter in law as Ravish was of his wife. And when she asked Ravish if he was too, his 'Yes' shocked both Vividha and Atharv.
I know many people are going to question Vividha's behaviour yet again. Why was she acting so concerned for Ravish in the jeep? It's simply because he is her friend. She wanted to make sure he was comfortable and not in any pain. Yet with Atharv there was no communication or eye contact.
And when again, when she was being bombarded with questions by the reporters, she didn't say a word. What could she say at that moment? It would have been more of a tamasha if she'd told everyone the truth about the divorce.
ViTharv 's misunderstanding has reached breaking point. All Atharv sees right now is Vividha being concerned about Ravish and all Vividha sees is Atharv avoiding her. They are both in so much pain, and yet both are silent. If Vividha isn't speaking, then neither is Atharv.
I'm not going to blame either of them in this situation because I can see everything through both points of view. ViTharv like this are going to be hard to watch.
