Sona walked back in to look at Dev only for one reason. To tell him that she has no right over him. Perhaps if Vicky hadn't barged in, the situation would have allowed her to expose herself more rather then put up defensive walls in front of everyone.

We are equals. Her bitterness hasn't diluted itself as Dev's anger has. Instead her walls guarding her strong facade has had cracks emerging that she felt the need to fill in right away. Throughout the ordeal I loved Dev's expressions. He was baffled at first and then resorted to silence. He has seen her worry for him. He had a peek inside her already.
Ishwari meanwhile was surprised. The woman couldn't believe that anyone can not like or love her son. Her son deserves everyone's attention but she is the only one who deserves his attention. It's not adding up Ishwari. Try to do the math.
Soha is at an age where the questions about her father would keep coming up. Knowing her mother, she described the best person who could've been her father and without trying, Soha is pulling out the memories Sona wishes to forget but can't erase.
How long our Sonakshi's walls going to stick up though? You only put so much fillings in between bricks after rain to keep the wall secure. Eventually for better protection, the previous wall has to fall out.
