The Phone call-4
Ring! Ring!! "Now whom can it possibly be at 9:01 am?"-asked Varma. "May be he has taken medicines and had changed his mind. Arey! Now pick up the phone before he decides to drop by himself looking for what's the matter with this PS" - Shinde said (making a confused face).Ring!!! "Hello! Who? No, Sir isn't here. He is sick. Yes! He might come but I am not sure regarding his arrival.Yes! I am constable Varma speaking. I think, he won't come today as his throat sounded sore.Yes! I'm sure, he was pretty much sick. U can talk with inspector Bhatia here if it's that important."
"Phew!! So many questions just for ACP saheb?"-wondered Varma. "Who was it?" Chided Shinde. "Shinde Sir!There was some lady on the phone asking about ACP Sir"-replied Varma.

Rudra came home with the support of Mandip and Soumya. Dadi who was busy with Jhanvi and Pinky relating to an upcoming Puja they should keep for all and didn't paid attention to the trio. Ouch!!Samhaal kar Sumo!! Rudra pleaded to Soumya as he got by a sofa. "Oh! My Mata!! Ae ki ho gaya tujhe Rudra? What's this kala kala dhabbaas on your eyes? Kahi make up karne ka moods toh nahi hai na?"-Pinky laughed at Rudra's blackened eye. Pinky "Chup karo Pinky! Rudra! How did it happened to you?"- Jhanvi asked impatiently with a concerned face. "Woh! Rudra khelte khelte, Nisha ko line maar..." Mandip interrupted by saying- "Rudra was playing basketball with us, when suddenly the ball which was meant to be caught by him, hit him on his eye. That's it Aunty!! Nothing more!!
"Aap log baatein hi karenge sirf ya koi mujhe apne room tak bhi chodega? I need to rest. It is really painful. I think the pain is increasing. Where's O and Shivaay Bhaiya? I need them. My head is still spinning." Soumya making a sorry face- "aww!! Crybaby ko chot lagi hai? Aur jao ladkiyo k saath flirt karne. Basketball khelte waqt bhi janab ladkiyo k saath hi hello bolne jaa rahe the." Rudra furiously remarked - "Hey it wasn't Nisha or my flirting who is at fault. It was you. If I didn't heard you talking with..." He trailed off thinking of the next word he was gonna say.

"Hucchhooo...!!! Oh! Go...chooo!! God! Why this happens with me? Just a little rain an..h..c.choo!!"- said Acp. The ACP had caught cold and cough... that's it! "God ! Why this sudden interruption in my life.h..u..c choo!!"- complained the ACP.
Ting tong!! ".I am..choo!! Coming!!" He opened the door only to be surprised with the lady standing before him. "Miss Oberoi? You? C.. choo!! I am sor..ry...choo!!"- he said(with a surprised look). "It's Ok! Can I come in?"-asked Priyanka (with a concerned face).
"Yes..sure choo!! Take a seat Miss Oberoi" -said Ranveer indicating towards the sofa ahead and sneezed. "Would you like some tea?"- asked the ACP. "Is there someone else who would prepare them or it's just..." she asked (a little scared).
Ranveer -"Yeah! It's me only!! By the way, I do make excellent Ginger tea, you won't regret having it." Priyanka said- "I don't need anything (she clarified) ... I m...mean you need to rest..." she paused looking at him (he had been wearing a black t-shirt and a grey track pant) "S... Sir! You need to take care rather than making tea for me." Ranveer raised his right eyebrow and replied- "It's pretty normal for us Miss Oberoi! (sneezing loudly) I'm sorry! It's not only for you that I would be making tea ,its for me too. I badly need a cup of ginger tea. So while I will be helping myself with the tea and utensils cause the maid has excused today, you can sit here and wait for it or I think it's your first time in my house, so welcome Miss Oberoi, you can stroll around the, it's a pretty small house. Make yourself at ho..m. me...choo!!! I thought it left me but no!! Urgg!! Really it's too annoying- said Ranveer (making a sorry and a scared face).
Priyanka (giggling bubbling inside her to find the ACP finally under arrest of Cold and Cough') - "I know it's normal for you. But when I know the cause of your sickness, how can I further let you make tea and wash utensils for me ...a.. and (adding it quickly and emphasizing it specifically) you ? It would be inhuman...hucc... choo!! Have you seen a doctor for this? It seems to be quite dangerous. I don't think, it's just cold and cough." She wanted to ask him if she can make tea for him. She shook her head kicking that idea out and began to sneeze louder. Ranveer- "Oh God! Now because of me, you too have caught cold? Hucchhoo!! I'm really really sorry Miss Oberoi!..."
Priyanka- "...It's Ok! You have ap...apologized enough for a day (smilingly).It's been a... awhile since I last went to the doctor. And today seems like... I won't be alone too(smilingly thinking of something in mind).Choo!!" Ranveer- "What are you talking about Miss Oberoi? Choo!! (making a puzzled look).
Priyanka - "Leave it, it's not that important. choo!! We will t... talk about that s... some other time, but today, first things first, you need to wear something else otherwise you will soon catch fever."
Listening to it Ranveer gave her a more confused look and said mockingly - "Giving instructions to the ACP? Huh!!" and then started sneezing loudly. Priyanka panicked and started explaining- "No, no I w...wasn't giving you in... instructions Sir! (Fidgeting with her dupatta)." Ranveer laughed out loud and answered assuring her that he was joking and that by taking medicines, he will soon be fine. He saw her typing something on her iPhone suddenly and sneezed out loudly. Meanwhile Priyanka dialled up. "Hello! Gupta Clinic? I'm Miss Priyanka Singh Oberoi. Yes! I wanted an appointment for today. Ok! I will be there. Sure!!"
She looked around to find Ranveer snoring peacefully on the sofa cum bed opposite to her. His hair was a complete mess and he was murmuring something to Varma about a case. "He looks quite...cute?"-wondered Priyanka. Before she knew, her fingers started roaming in between his hair and then slowly they travelled towards his face, where she removed some unruly hair strands out of his face. She smiled recalling him as the impertinent Sardar at the Dhaba and then the caring friend and a little bit of the sorry Police officer throughout the journey. She said at a low voice near his ears- "I am re.. really sorry for troubling you all this while. And thanks for saving me and O Bhaiya from Dad's and Shivaay Bhaiya's wrath A.. ACP Ran... Randhawa." The way he had handled the case of Anita and George's escaped marriage at Goa, was commendable. Even Shivaay Bhaiya didn't pressed further for details, nor was she been blamed by the Chabbras for being the sole eye witness in the marriage registrar's office at Goa.Om had done what he could arrange with his friends at Goa and after knowing the exact problem, the ACP too helped a lot as he promised. She smiled thinking of the Sardarji and her mind quickly pushed it back asking her to put a blanket on him carefully without disturbing him.
