Ishra shaked hand and raman said-so madrasan long time no see,bahut busy ho apni life mein it seems.doctor ban gayi,two kids.life went really fast for u.he said looking at adiru who have slept.
Ishita-yes ,what about u.actually if u don't mind,can I talk to u some other time.my kids have slept.
Raman-ofcourse,this is my card.call me when u r free.will love to get a long list friend again.he said giving his card.
Ishita took it in jiffy and said-yes sure,will love to talk to u.saying so she settled on the wheel and was about to start the car but said-shit,now what's this.
Raman who was going to his car,turned and said-what happened.
Ishita-my car broke down.shit what a bad day,appa ko chot lag gayi,bachchon ko pick up karne mein late ho gaya,now this.dont know what's is happening.she said keeping her head on the steering.
Raman-if u don't mind,i can drop u home.
Ishita look at him and said-u must be busy,i will do something.
Raman-oh please don't be formal.we were not best of buddies but knew each other.i can't leave u in mid of road along with two slept kids and a broken car in the evening.please let me do this.
Ishita-ok,thanks for helping.saying so she came out of the car and picked adi in her arms.she was about to pick ruhi when raman said-can i.he said casually but deep inside he was dying to take the kids in his arms for a reason unknown to himself.
Ishita-its ok raman.i can take care of my kids.main hamesha dono ko god mein leti hoon.i am used to it.waise bhi ur biz suit will be ruined.she said making raman face fell.
Ishita tried to bend and took ruhi but her pallu got struck .
Raman-come on ishita,i will not ran away taking ur baby .let me help u.
Seeing no option she nodded.raman bend and picked ruhi in his arms and closed his eyes feeling immense peace while a tear escape his eyes which he wiped in a jiffy surprising about his own reaction.he softly pecked ruhi's forehead and she wounded her arms around him.
He smiled feeling her in his arms and soon ishra went to raman's car picking both the kids .Raman told his driver to take her car to garage and drop it at her place after getting it repaired.
Driver nodded and ishra settled in the car.ishita made both the kids sleep on her lap while raman was driving and was looking at the kids in between.ishita was holding them protectively .
Raman-(St)I don't know why I am so happy just by the mere touch of this kid .kya rishta hai inn bachchon se ki inko takleef mein dekh nahi paaya aur inko choo kar ajeeb sa sukoon mila.i don't why but I am at peace with them.
Ishita-(St)ishita,u r a jerk,he is helping u and u r behaving like this.i think I should call him for a coffee,haan yeh thik rahega.itna toh mujhe karna hi chahiye.she was thinking when ruhi said-mumma bhuko lagi hai .she said rubbing her eyes.
Ishita -haan baby,hum abhi ghar pahunchte hai,then I will make yummy food for both of u.
Adi-but mumma bahut zoron se bhook lagi hai.adi too wake up feeling hungry.
Raman-i think u should make them eat something.bachche hai baad mein shayad naa khaye .
Ishita- but u must be getting late.i mean I can't let u wait.she said reluctantly.
Raman-its ok ishita,waise bhi it's for the kids.he said and stopped the car near a restaurant.
Adiru became happy and came out.
Ishita- baby ,aap dono uncle ke saath ander jao,mumma abhi nanu ko call karke aati hai.he must be busy naa.and listen no shaitaani.uncle ko pareshan mat karna.
Adi-yeh stlangel nahi hai.
Ishita-no baby,he is my friend.my school friend and ur uncle.now go with them mumma is just coming.
Adiru nodded like obedient kids and went slowly inside with raman.while ishita called appa and told him that they will take some time to come back as kids were hungry.she told appa about meeting raman,her school friend.
Appa-its ok kanna.kha pee kar aao.i am very tired.i am going to sleep.
Ishita-aapne kuch khaya.
Appa-yes neelu has made oats upma for me.had it and medicine too.now going to sleep.u have extra keys naa.
Ishita-yes appa.aap so jao . likewise she was talking while inside raman ordered sandwiches and noddles for the kids along with two coffees for themselves.
Adi-luhi de main tujhe khila deta hoon.
Ruhi-nahi bhiya main kha lungi.
Adi-ale luhi tu kaiche khayegi.tu toh chotu hai naa.
Ruhi- lekin bhiya mumma kehti hai khud che khana chahiye.they were talking while raman was enjoying their cute talk.thats when the order was served.
Adiru got excited and took pieces of sandwich and start eating but it's stuffs start falling on their uniforms.
Adi-luhi tune chab gila diya.mumma dantengi.he said making ruhi crying.adi wiped her tears and said-cholly luhi .Maine tujhe lula diya.saying so he wiped her tears again rubbing tomato sauce around her tears making her cry louder.
Raman saw it and picked ruhi in his arms taking her to the washroom.adi too went behind them.raman washed ruhi's face and wiped it with his hanky .
Raman-r u fine now bachcha .
Ruhi nodded and smiled.raman smiled seeing her smile and pecked her forehead softly.
Then raman took the babies to the table and said-now only I will feed both of u and both of u will only eat.koi baat nahi.mumma has told both of u not to bother me.ok.
Adiru look at each other and nodded in yes.
Raman smiled and start feeding both of them simultaneously.he was feeling too happy feeding both the kids while adiru were just eating silently.
Ishita came inside and saw raman feeding them.
Ishita-did they bother u.sorry I had to go to get my phone recharged.balance khatam ho gaya tha.
Raman-its ok,but u shouldn't have left these cute kids with me,main le kar bhaag jaata toh.he said jokingly but ishita got scared hearing this.
Ishita -u can't take them away .main mar jaungi inke bina.she said fumbling while her eyes got moist.
Raman-hey sorry,i was just joking.koi tumhare bachchon ko kahin nahi le jayega .but I must say ur kids r damn cute.bahut pyaare hai,he said feeding adiru.
Ishita smiled weakly and settled on the chair and start sipping the coffee.
Raman-so hows life ishita.
Ishita- fine raman.tum batao hows life.
Raman-thik thak hi chal raha hai.toh kya karte hai tumhare husband.he said making ishita look at raman.
Ishita-mere husband,inke papa.
Ishita was about to say something when adiru said together-hamale papa toh nahi hai,silb mumma aul nanu hai.
Raman got shocked hearing this.
Raman-oh i am so sorry.i don't know about this.can I know how he died.
Ishita-no no u r getting it wrong.mere pati ki maut nahi hui hai.
Raman-toh tumhara bhi divorce.
Ishita-no actually,tumhara bhi divorce.does it mean u r divorcee.she said looking at raman with shocked eyes.
Raman nodded in yes, sadly.
Ishita- how,how can a girl can leave u.koi tumhe kaise divorce de sakta hai.
Raman smiled sadly and said-just the way someone divorced u and left u alone with these two adorable kids.
Ishita was about to say something when adi said-mumma chuchu aayi hai.
That broke ishra convo and ishita took adi to washroom.while raman was playing with ruhi.
After sometime ishita came back with adi.all had their food and raman cleared the bill.ishita insisted to pay but raman didn't let her pay.
Soon all were going to her house,adiru was sitting on the back seat and playing while ishra were in the front.
Raman-can I know why ur husband left u.
Ishita- actually I am not divorced.she said meekly.
Raman look at her with confused look.
Raman- not divorcee ,toh tumhare husband kahan hai.
Ishita- that I don't wanna share,bas itna jaan lo that I don't have any husband just my kids .
Raman-its ok ,but anytime in life u need someone to stand beside u,always remember u have a friend named raman bhalla.
Ishita look at him hearing this while raman just press his eyes to confirm what he said.
Ishita mouthed a thanks and said-mera ghar aa gaya.
Raman stopped the car and they turn to see adiru was sleeping hugging each other.
Ishita-adi-rooh get up bachcha,ghar aa gaya.
Raman-its ok .main ghar pahuncha deta hoon.saying so he picked them in his arms.ishita open the door and directed him to the room.
Raman make them sleep on the bed and softly pecked their foreheads.later realised ishita is looking at raman.
Raman- they r just so cute,i couldn't stop myself.sorry if u,
Ishita-it's ok.tum bhi ghar jao.its getting late .bahut der ho gayi naa hamari wajah se.
Raman-its ok,waise bhi mera koi intezaar nahi karta.saying so he was going but turned and said-if u don't mind can I drop them home till ur dad's leg get better.only if u allow.
Ishita - ok ,only if u r comfortable.
Raman smiled wholeheartedly and went out of her house while ishita was just looking at his retreating figure and thinking what went wrong in his life that he is so alone and sad.
