Karan Johars Koffee With Karan couch is famous for making celebrities extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Perhaps that's something Kapil Sharma should've known before he decided to sign up for it. And guess what, KJo did ask the comedian something that wiped out his smile. The host of the show, basically asked Kapil what's with this habit of tweeting in the wee hours of sunrise. We all know pretty well how the comic show host likes to update his fans way early in the morning. In fact, that even landed him in a big trouble. Remember the infamous tweet he made at 5 in the morning that resulted in a big controversy involving corruption? Anyway, so being Karan's habit to dig deeper, the filmmaker prodded him on the same.
Said a source to DNA, "Karan asked him how come he took to Twitter so early in the morning? Didn't he have a girlfriend with whom he could spend the time instead? Kapil was embarrassed and didn't know what to say. He told Karan he is not comfortable answering such questions. He also commented that he himself never asks such things to his guests when they come on his show. Also, since Kapil is not very fluent in English, he would have been fearing how it would be interpreted." Damn, KJo surely knows how to put his guests in a fix with his saucy questions! The duo share a great rapport as we saw their cool-bro chemistry when they hosted award functions together. Perhaps, Johar forgot to draw the line where necessary and left Kapil uncomfortable.
His episode hasn't been aired yet. It was supposed to come out in January itself. However, it has been pushed for now but will hopefully air soon. For the first time, we'll get to see the man who is responsible for roasting so many Bollywood celebs, get roasted by Karan Johar on his show. Speaking of which, the next episode of KWK will have Badrinath Ki Dulhania cast, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. We've recently found out that even Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut are set to shoot their episode of Koffee together to promote Rangoon. Damn, is KJo losing the plot of his show? It's a talk show and not a promotional platform! Anyway, how curious are you to watch Kapil Sharma on Koffee With Karan?
