hello tazana, well done for the super introduction to cruz of the story Ghulam.. the name itself has a telling ring tone to it... sounds of servitide, and hints of slavery. Differs from slavery as buying and selling was involved in it. But certainly there is clear sense of amaster in power position and servant in a servile role. Hence the image of the served and one who serves. So yes alarming as it may seem.in this day and age, but it does exist in many forms across the world societies. I loved the reference to evolution that you made.. The actual programme I have only just begun to watch. The ways of Behrampur seem cruel and outrageous. No restrictions have been made to show that its a man's world. Veer too is enslaved by the chains of the dictates of his kingdom where the family is a law unto themselves., and has to carry the legacy to survive.. They thrive on the igonrance of the weak and fearful. Its funny to see that the older son with traces of virtue in him is somewhat of an impotent man. Thus showing that whatever virtue there is in peoples hearts, lies dormant and fears to come out. But one also sees bondings amongst two dils .. a bonding of empathy and the need to reach out to each other.. so possibilty of a Love triangle?will the new bride ever love her beast like husband?.. I best be quiet now, came to tell you .. well done for choosing what you like.. and hammie has a feeling you will like it here.. the members appear to be very cordial and supportive! thank you for a brilliant post and a wave from me to barbs, nus and others that I don't know... much love hammie
